So yes in a technical way you're right but the OP is meaning for him to get his title/belt back as the "current/reigning" World Champion. Him and Alex can't both be champion at the same time.

Idk man everyone is saying Hill can outgrapple him , i mean he is a brown belt and got introduced into mma via bjj and trains at a bjj gym but he has never shot for a takedown in his career. Jiri, sean and jan have all previously wrestled before fighting alex. Izzy had never got a takedown before alex but had submission attempts. Hill genuinely has never offensively used grappling before in his career, he defo intends to strike, if he switches to grappling would he hilarious and testament to how dangerous alex is considering hill has never wrestled before lol

Dude saying Jamahal Hill crushed a generation of light heavyweights is such a crazy statement! He’s beaten 2 people in the top 15. He was ranked #7 and got lucky he was the only other person available when they needed someone to step in for a vacant title fight against a 43 year old Glover.

If hill was fully fit and completely recovered from his leg injury this woul b a cracking competitive fight which could go 5 back and forth rounds with anyone's hand being raised at the end of it. There's no doubting A.P's stand up skills , his deadly kicks , lehal left hook or his power but he's very hit able and able to b taken down. Even with his vonrable leg I can still c hill making a fight of it until his injury catches up with him... wish it was later in the year so that leg could hill properly.. still don't think he's gona get smoked and still has a chance to shock the world... there both good fighters and i enjoy watching them both..good luck to them both and hope it's a banger..👊👊

Jamahal is right that none of his fights have been close. But he hasnt fought the best competition. I love Glover and Thiago Santos. But Glover was like 43 and Thiago Santos has no knees since the Jones fight. Not saying Jamahal isnt a great fighter and cant knock Alex out, but Alex has fought nothing but champions/former champions/future champions since his debut.

Dude literally tore his achilles 8 months ago, whcih has to reduce his odds but to Jamahal credits in the few fights of seen, he usually gets a KO he does eat a lot of big shots, sometimes but i dont remember actually seeing him get wobbled from any of them, I think Periera has at been wobbled in most of his fights by an over hand right, even Izzy if he had 15 more seconds after he caught him that fight might have been a first round finish but he got saved by the bell. I like both these guys but youre crazy if you dont think this could go either way.
