It is difficult to give an exact answer because I have no experience with the two products you mentioned, but in the case of HT-A9, the configuration and price range are very different, so it is not a comparison target. And if you add a subwoofer and rear speakers to the HT-A7000, Dolby Atmos through up-firing seems to work well. I have purchased q990b after such great reviews. I just wanted to know about 2 surround speakers. Inspite of putting rear channels at highest level of 6, I am getting very less sound in surround mode. Is it the default way of surround speakers?
In my case, I put the surround speakers in rear mode and set only the up-firing to +6 and the rest to 0. Amortize that results will vary depending on the audio source and settings. If you cannot hear sound from the rear speakers, first check the surround speaker connections. If there are no problems with the connection, the audio source determines whether or not sound is output from the surround speakers. In my experience, there was no problem with the sound output from the surround speakers in 5.1ch, 7.1ch, and Dolby Atmos.
@@KR-jayden Fine, but just wanted to confirm whether the overall volume of surround speakers is less than the front or is it the same, when put at same levels. There is no problem with connection.
Excuse me, is there a problem with your Q990B? There was an issue in which the subwoofer and surround speakers were continuously disconnected in the initial production product, but I know that it has been almost resolved after production in June. :( My Q990B is a June product and I haven't had any particular issues yet.
@@KR-jayden no I am happy with my q950a. But I read alot of reviews and comments on Reddit and AVforums. Pretty much everyone claims that they have disconnection issues with sub or rear speakers with the q990b.
how is the atmos effect and 3d sound effect of this q990b soundbar.......is it at par with sony hta9 or sony hta7000
