great lesson! I have been in doubt about it for a long time! thank you!
Excellent class!!
Really clear and helpful...the best explanation ever about this topic!
Thanks a lot!
This lesson with "Questions - Learn English Grammar'" makes an amazing pair! Thank you very much!
I found your channel 2days prior to my IELTS test.
Let's just say if I have had more times, I would have score higher. I managed to address most of mistakes just from a few of your videos(4-5videos). You also answer questions in the comment section even if the video was years ago.
I got
7Listening, 7Reading, 6Writing, 5.5speaking.
And for anyone who is looking forward to take an ielts test, rmb that part 2 of speaking is very important. I fail to speak for 1-2minutes in part 2 becuz I got a topic which im not really familiar with, I couldnt come up with content.
Thank you for your feedback and advice to other IELTS candidates, Prum. I'm glad my lessons were helpful to you in the test.
love these
Your explanations are crystal clear. The topic is useful and interesting. The pace is slow but dynamic. You make English affordable. Thanks for your excellent work. Furthermore, I love your voice and I find you a really attractive woman. Apologies for any inconvenience!
Thanks a lot for your very kind comments. Not sure why you're apologising!
@@AngloLinkEnglish in these strange times one must be careful when complimenting women: sometimes the compliment could be interpreted as a sort of bullying or harassment. That's why, in case I offended you, I apologize. I guess that's not the case and I celebrate it. I enjoy your videos really much! Cheers

To activate a structure in your speech, you need to create your own examples of that structure in writing first.

Good evening
Hello My dear teacher Minoo ,Firstly,i would like to thank you for all your efforts and your clear and detailed explanations, really,i have been waching your videos since i discovered your channel, because they are very beneficial and interesting.please i have one little question:what is more suitable in this case:MIGHT or WILL
???
THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT IT..........SNOW THIS WEEK.
Because this phrase was in my exam 2 days ago,and i think that my teachers accidently happened to correct it wrongly.
Thanks a lot for your continued support!
That's a tricky one! The commonly used modal verb after this expression is 'might', but of course, you can argue that because we've already said 'chance' to express 'possibility', then 'will' should work too.
What is the difference between intentions and plans? could you please tell me the difference in meaning with examples?
Intentions and (personal) plans are similar, and they're both expressed with 'going to': I'm going to clean the kitchen.
The main distinction is between 'intentions/plans' and 'arrangements', which are expressed using Present Continuous: I'm cleaning the kitchen with John this morning. We're starting at 10.
You can study this distinction further in this lesson: ua-cam.com/video/Q_B5IipS88o/v-deo.html
Comments the times of the video in the comments for whoever has the cell phone can choose the moments of the videos.
I have done that in the description box, Illo. You can also see them on the video as it plays.
"Are you originally from Iran..?" Wow! Love from India ❤️
Thank you, Sreenath!

I miss you a lot dear teacher
Thanks a lot, Abdelhakim! I've been busy with many different projects. I'll try to publish more regularly.
Thank you! What about where and when? For example, 'Eiffel tower is located in Paris'. Is it 'Where Eiffel tower is located?' or 'Where is Eiffel tower located' or maybe something else?
You're very welcome.
Good question: With all other Wh-questions (where, when, why, etc.) we always need the question form: Where IS Eiffel Tower located. 'who' and 'what' are special cases.
First I want to thank you Mam, I have a question I'm doing Master in English and we're learning British English and also difference with American but the problem is I want to ask which accent should I adopt please tell me I you get my message ,Which accent should I adopted the British or American ? Please share your opinion
Thank you, Shariq!
As you're studying British English, it will be easier to learn the British pronunciation. However, if you end up pronouncing certain sounds the American way, that's perfectly fine. Many of us have mixed accents. Focus on clarity, not adopting a specific accent.
thank you so much for the explanation.
I have a question. why did you use "the storm damaged the roof" instead of "the storm has damaged the roof" in quiz number two.
are they both correct?
Yes, they would both be correct in different contexts.
I've used the Past Simple in this example to show clearly that the auxiliary in needed in one case, and not in the other.
Thank you for all these useful videos! Please, I have a question if is possible for you to reply : what's the difference between "in front of" and "at front of" because these aren't clear for me. Thank you!
You're welcome, Diana.
'in front of' describes the spatial relationship between two things or people: I sat in front of her.
'at the front of' describes the part of one single thing: I sat at the front of the classroom.
Hi
I would like to know if is correct to ask:
Would you mind me asking you something?
Ma'am I'd like to ask what is the difference between keep eating and keep on eating. Thank you!
There is no difference. 'on' is not really necessary, but commonly used.
I didn’t even realised that the question word whom is American. And how in the earth is possible to say “to who?” in short questions
WHAT
People are mare what they hide than what they show
WHO
I'm who I'm not who you think
I'm not who you want me to be
I'm me
WHOM
Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed
