I highly doubt the US military wouldn't have tried to Nuke him if they thought it was a viable solution. Also, they were scared to go to war with him so that basically implies they wouldn't even be able to take him out, not even with the strongest weapons at their disposal.

My favorite point of this character is something that wasn't mentioned. He is so strong that he can stop an earthquake by punching the ground. Plus he can disintegrate a wall by putting his open palm on it then putting a little pressure on it.

They don't get rid of him. The manga is still running and Yujiro Hanma is still running around. His son eventually gives him a good fight and Yujiro loses by default because he walks away because if the fight escalated anymore he would have to kill his own son. That was his only loss ever and Baki has the title of strongest now because his dad actually forfeited because he did not want to kill his son. Dopo is actually his best friend too they go out for drinks quite often and chat at the bar in the Manga.
