I love the way Antonio went into character of Puss in Boots!! Olivia is so sweet, she’s always the same lovely lady. This was a very entertaining little film and the kids were great!!! 🎉
Antonio has been my top favorite actor since I first saw him in Spy Kids, which I believe was before the first Shrek movie, if I'm not mistaken. He's someone that I would listen to all day about the places he has traveled to.
I doubt it, Antonio comes from a family of Andalusian marmalade makers, the marmalade is made from bitter oranges and inspired by a traditional Portuguese recipe, and they also make mango and medlar jam which is mostly sold to tourists.
@@AjayBlanco What are the words in Spanish? Genuine language nerd interest because in my native tongue of Czech "marmeláda" can be used in general, not just for an orange preserve - so it's interesting to know how other languages deal with it.
@@beth12svist You make an excellent point! In Spanish 'confitura' is used for jam and 'mermelada' is used for marmalade, however, often jam is also called mermelada, and confitura is often used for jam with chunks of fruit in it, rather than a paste.
@@AjayBlanco Thank you. Confitura! I think that's the word I've come across before. 🙂 (Spanish has mostly passed me by. I still don't remember when or where I would have come across it, but somehow it carries the flavour of a childhood memory so maybe we happened to have a Spanish jam many years ago or some such occurrence...)
Marmalade on a scone is fine it’s pretty close to jam but if Antonio is going to be side-eyeing the chip butty I think yeah no more UK for you pally 😂😂😂😂 (I joke)
Paddington In Peru hits cinemas on Friday 8th November 💙

Antonio having an actual sandwich-under-hat experience as a child is VERY Paddington, wow
Monica is a whole vibe - thanks for this guys!
Paddington and Monica would make an unstoppable team 🫶 and thanks for having us 💙
I wouldn't mind marmalade on a scone lol
It's tangy ❤❤❤
To be fair, in a lot of languages "Marmelade" just means "jam" in general.
Needed that today 😄
These two are absolute treasures

I think he meant jam. Marmelada is the Spanish for Jam, so I think he got confused.
That really was sweet!
3:02 Pretty sure Antonio is confusing marmalade with jam lol... it's a very difficult distinction for foreigners Olivia darling ❤

@AjayBlanco Ah, interesting! I stand corrected. And join Olivia in her... uh... surprise? at scones-with-marmalade 😉

I really want a chip butty now.
This is very closely similar to the BBC series!

I've had marmalade on a scone
Did you vote Brexit ? 😂😂
He actually meant jam
But the bears don't live in the jungle...🤔
