As a big lover of Puccini' s operas , i love very much his Butterfly and wish one day to be able to interpret this role on the stage ..the music is fantastic , gives you wings to fly over all human misfortunes and torments ..and Freni is one , probably the best Butterfly i , personally , know ..

My favourite Freni's interpretation I suppose... I like this singer, I aprreciate her very much, but generally she is not my very very favourite. This Butterfly is wonderful though and her singing is just ... beautiful... But... it's a fault of make up and hair stylist, but she reminds me here more mickey mouse than a geiko....

Potevano mettergli sul viso della cipria...Cio Cio San tutta sudaticcia e lucida e' terribile...la parrucca...Karajan non aveva alcun gusto per le arti figurative...
