To all those who put this song down...The Bee Gee's wrote and recorded this song, which is on the last CD they made before Maurice Gibb died. "One True Voice" is singing it exactly as the Bee Gee's did. A beautiful love song indeed :) :)
From every direction I was made to feel that I should NOT like this, but I love it and get goose pimples every time I hear it. Sometimes you have to break through the wall of snobs.
Soo takes me back in time when I was rooting for these boys to win remember this video like it was from yesterday should have stayed together Keith & Daniel melted my heart with their voices💙💙
Have a lot of sympathy for these guys - they were the "winners" of Pop Stars The Rivals, everything looked good, but they lasted around 6 months. The "losers" in the meantime went on to release 20 top ten singles, 5 albums, selling out concerts at the O2 and Wembley Arena and becoming multi-millionaire superstars. It's a cruel business, and I hope these lads moved on positively with their lives.
Who were the losers? Popstars the rivals was all about getting a winning girl band and a winning boy band. These won the boys category and Girls Aloud won the girls category
i cant believe this was not popular I heard it while i was in london last week there was a jukebox in a pub that has the song I really liked it shame...
Still love listening to that song to lift me up! Matt, Great to hear that you have a new band, I will check out your songs. I saw Daniel singing with Dizzee Rascal on Jonathan Ross a few months ago, loved it. What happened to him, he needs to come back and sing again, just loooove his voice!
OTV should definitely come back for a reunion, even though they had only released two hits, one of them being a double a side, maybe they could represent us in Eurovision Song Contest this year
Wow its been a long time since them days! 11 years! Now I'm 28 years old I have decided to start recording music again. Only joined UA-cam 4 weeks ago, see what you think, only acoustic covers at the moment but my own original music is coming soon. All the Best Matt (Ex-member of the band above)
Sounds like two average songs nailed together. That key change between verse and chorus puts my teeth on edge. As for the video : five cheap pleather jackets and a hire-car spin around the Excel centre please! Job done. Tragic.
Even if they should have won, they would be like the previous winner. The year after that, Hear'Say who may have won. But Liberty X, the consistent who didn’t get picked for the group. Perform their own group and become popular and more famous and recognize, while Hear'Say fail to be successful and quickly fade away. Even if One True Voice should have one, I think they would fail just like Hear'Say. While I think Girls Aloud would have, sky rocket like Liberty X.
I quite liked their music - especially ‘Shakespeare’s Way With Words’, but there is no doubt that Girls Aloud had a better song for the mass audience. I actually liked both of their respective singles. It’s a shame they didn’t get any further and I saw the lead singer (Daniel I think?) getting to Bootcamp on X Factor a few years ago with a mohawk. He didn’t make it through unfortunately and there was no mention of his stint in One True Voice; just his theatre roles etc. Shows how brutal the music industry can be. Nick
Daniel Pearce has also been a backing singer for Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Disco. I think One True Voice failed because their songs sounded too similar. The songs were slow kinda like Boys to Men. If they would've had some up tempo pop songs they might have done better. Who knows? I also agree that the music industry can be brutal. You gotta produce what sells, not what you want, unless they're the same of course. That being said it is a shame as it can prevent new ideas coming to the surface.
I think too it was because boybands where going out of fashionabla but too because their singel felt too 90s and not fresh, bit boring too (this cover was bit better). Girls aloud song was fresh.
Bee Gees song from their album This is where I came in 2001 ❤❤❤
Omg the memories who's here in 2022 still loving this banger
2024
Remember, they are not a band. They're a "VOCAL HARMONISING GROUP"
Woooooow. All this time I had absolutely no idea this was a cover!?
Such an underrated song....
I don't care what you all think.... I love it.
I was literally obsessed with Jamie. I remember one of my birthday cakes was him 😅😂 I was 12 haha 🙈
Which one is Jamie?
The one that looks like Sam from Love is Blind UK 😂
Listening to this in 2020 anyone?
Yep :) Still a great track...
So underrated.
14 de febrero!
Was gutted that they were given crap songs after this, so they disappeared.
I'm still here listening absolutely love this song
This song randomly came in my head this morning after many years of not hearing this 😂😂
Same here
Same right now! 😂

The band who turned it down does not even reach a fraction of 1/8 as the popularity of the Bee Gees.
@@thegreatestcrashbandicootf8864 😅
Probably why it’s crap, the bee gees were only good in their time, their style was never modern enough
@@fannymcpeterson1543you’re being very very ‘arsh
I like this song & have since day 1 but your right, the idiots who Diss it don't know the history of it, u got good taste 😊
Bee gees would of been proud well done guys

You was born in 1987/1988 right??
This unexpectedly came on the radio earlier. I was singing along at full volume lol
It’ll potentially be because Sarah Harding died
They truly spared every expense with this video driving around the Excel centre!
52 in 2022 and still loving this version of a classic BeeGee's tune 👌
О, вы также, как Барри Гибб родились в год Собаки!!😊😊
@user-gq6zp3zu4y Actually no. In the Chinese Zodiac? I'm the year of the 🐓 ( 1969)
Seems you were born in the year of the asshole 😊
Another amazing song written by the Bee Gees. They write such beautiful lyrics and melodies. WOW
These came my school, loved this song n still do
From the Bee Gees...2001 album. Great song.
2021....still listening to this gem. Hope the boys who are now men are well healthy and happy in their lifes
When you’re pissed and having a great night This song (amongst many) is fuel guys! Daniel (lead singer) actually has a decent voice.
This was just played on BBC Radio 2 on 1/5/17! Came here to double check it was what I thought it was! Haha
definitely has more of Christmas feel than sound of the underground.
Brings back good memories 🥰 xXx
Wowwww...Barry Gibb will be so happy hearing this
Had forgotten about this song. After discovering it again i still love it
Me to great song
Really.....?
From every direction I was made to feel that I should NOT like this, but I love it and get goose pimples every time I hear it. Sometimes you have to break through the wall of snobs.
agree
Same
I loved this song when it was first released and I still do.
This should've have won it's so good. And a bee gees song too ❤❤
I wholeheartedly agree
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
thanks for such a brilliant song
from Paul Williams from Bartley green Birmingham ❤️
Soo takes me back in time when I was rooting for these boys to win remember this video like it was from yesterday should have stayed together Keith & Daniel melted my heart with their voices💙💙
The singer must have the right voice to sing this song, and this guys did it.
One of Barry Gibbs best
Great cover too
This is the first time I'm ever hearing of this band.
Mee too, Bee Gees took me here and I am happy of this, well done boys!
Doesn’t matter how many times I listen to this I still love it, and I watched it being film at the excel centre

Love love this song who else do
Me to is such amazing song
You know I love it, I can’t see the day from night
It sounds like a Bee Gees song, which is why like it a lot.

@@lisgreen5675the Bee Gees were the original writers of this song
Good night 🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃

My first Time hearing this song from this group, awesome 👍. Now I'm a fan.
This song is an absolute bop.

I loved this song ATM. Bloody forgot about it since.
Just heard this song on spotify yesterday and I beggining to like it and here I am watching the video.
Nice rendition. This was another great composition by the Beegees!
It's on their album: This Is Where I Came In.
apparently, they originally wrote it for The Backstreet Boys
I loved this song it was so dang catchy, i so wish the lads had been given a chance they could have lasted just as long as girls aloud
The cheese gas purely melted lol
Thus song just came in my head...long time ago but remember it...just.
OTV should definitely come back for a reunion, even though they had only released two hits, one of them being a double a side, maybe they could represent us in Eurovision Song Contest this year
I’d put my sacred trust in them getting 12 points
How Can they come back for reunion, when they never even took off to begin with😂
Good night 🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry Lord. It's been hard lately. I'm not mad at you. Just can't give time to everyone. No matter what. XxxX
Originally of the Bee Gees ❤❤👏👏
What a classic of the ages
Peaked at #2 in U.K. on 22 December 2002
This was tv Gold, their egos and terrible songs cemented their fate. Did you ever see them interved, painful.
such a shame they wernt given better songs they were really good love this song.x
Always a guilty pleasure tune!

A comeback, they didn’t even started.

Anyone else pop back every now and then?
This song its amazing 👏 I hope they come back with more song 🎵
Just heard this on radio one and it made me want to listen again!
I love this song! The chorus gives me goosebumps ❤
For some reason in May 2017 this song has randomly popped into my head and I had to come here to watch it.
I bought it too and still play it in the car all the time. Love it!
Goddamn this one is an 00s deep cut😂😂😂 Great tune.
Sooo nostalgic is this.

I forgot about this still soo good
Never forgot this Pete waterman was actually OK with the lads though girls aloud had a more trendy song 🎵 I think their song was family friendly A!
This takes me back
Watching this for the first time in years and I've just realised this was filmed at the excel centre where I go to comic con lol Still love this song

When they were head to head with Girls Aloud, I bought this song coz I loved it more x
Well most people disagreed as 'Sound of the Underground' beat this to Number One.
