Statement walls make me anxious

I keep reaching new levels of artful and cohesive interior design. Today I nailed DVD cases of awesome movies to complete my gallery wall. I previously did the same with books on my other walls. My eclectic bohemian industrial maximalist living room is funky cozy dark academia-vampire rockstar bordello. Pink, black, red, amber, soft white lighting, really beautiful, especially at night, of course.

I love moody space, but when u don’t have any windows, isn’t it hard to figure out what types of lighting and how many lights are enough?
Yes it is a balancing act to not feel to dark.
That's where maybe you use a bold colour on an accent wall and keep the space overall a little lighter. Maybe bring in a statement couch or chairs. 😊

I love the Ralph Lauren clubby look. I have my apt. all in jewel tones w/chenille's & velvets/leather & oaks but with all this "in" stark white/light/bright places, I worry that if I ever go to sell, buyers won't get it. I even doubt myself and low key worry. I'm almost afraid to have people in.
I bought my first house a couple of years ago and have slowly been turning it from neutral "light and airy" look to dark and moody, with touches of mid-century modern, vintage, upcycled pieces and diy projects to go with various ornaments and furnishings I have for a unique ecletic look and vibe that really suits me.
Open plan living and dining room, the powder room, the entry way, the upstairs hallway and master bedroom will all be i this style. The guest bedroom won't be as strong with these elements and the third bedroom I have turned into a home gym.
Really love the video as have given me a couple of ideas for things I want to bring into a couple of areas.

Hello💗, I'm still thinking about the combination of colors. Some dark gothic design has pastel colors and it really looks amazing and vintage.
Would love your thoughts on painting for a mixed modern/vintage home. In the old days, sometimes the baseboards and doors were deep colors rather than a tone of white. Is this so out of date it should be shelved or is there a way to do this with a modern twist?
Actually I am seeing a lot more of that. I personally love when the trim and baseboard are all painted out! I think it gives a really polished look!
