Honestly i don't want Max or Will to have powers, that's sounds way too unrealistic. She definetly has a connection with Vecna like Will bcs she said once "i can still feel him". What i would like to see is how they break those connections.
So we know that Max wasn't "there" when Eleven went into her mind at the end of S4 so I think that the first episode of S5 titled The Crawl will be about Max having to sneak around Vecnas mind and somehow "crawl" her way out back to reality or to her own mind 🤷

I want to see Dr Owen's again. I'm ready for Mad Max to wake up and kick butt.
I mean maybe Dr. Owens can wake her with a medical drug he has. I just hope all or almost all her bones that got broken are healed when he does. So she can fight along side her friends. Hopefully her eye area will be ok too but idk. I don't feel confident that she won't have vision problems of some kind. I feel we won't know how Max has changed unless she wakes and tells us though or if she's found in 001's mind prison or whatever the case is. I want better things for Max and don't want her to remain missing and unresponsive. She went above and beyond for her friends and her town, when she was struggling so much. I'd love to see her fight another day and she deserves to in my opinion.

I love this theory but I have a little something to add to that. If they wanna make Dr. Owens current storyline a little more interesting that could be where Kali would come in considering she has the powers to make people see and not see things so they won’t have to have a major battle with the military and just focus on the fight in Hawkins. I know Kali has had some issues with the Doctors in Hawkins lab but it is very likely that Doctor Owens wasn’t there when she was there considering he made his debut in season 2 so she might not really have a problem with him.
