A trip to Stal G to watch the new carriage horses strut their stuff. I was hoping Rein would not give up the carriage.
Back to Stal H where a naked (!) Shiney showed off new tricks and playfulness! Mario and Peach learn being away from their mothers. And the piece de resistance, Rein and Tieje drive Puck in the carriage! What a lovely start to my day! Love to all! ❤❤❤

Yvonne’s boys have SKILLS! They are young & already learning important equine management! Impressive! Yfke seems to have inherited the beautiful trot of her great-grandsire, the incomparable, Jasper 366 Sport Preferent. Here’s hoping she will become Reintje’s second crown daughter! Sanne & Reina look beautiful in front of the cart. Alie did well, too. Friesians really seem to have very good memories!
Yfke is beautiful. Who says you are unlucky Yvonne. You put together beautiful mares with amazing sires to create handsome colts and beautiful fillies.

I love hearing Rein’s calm, steady, reassuring ‘goedzo..braaaaaf’ as he guides the horses around the arena. He never falters if the horses panic a bit..he just helps them get back to where they need to be and praises them accordingly..awesome
I agree with you so much. I think Rein is the best and I can see why he & Yvonne are so close, their personalities are so similar.

Yfke looks like she is floating on air when she trots, just beautiful. I felt sorry for her calling out to her mum, but she will get used to it. Surprised me when she gave Bibi a saucy kick.

Bibi wanted to make friends with Yfke but now Yfke will have to earn that friendship. I think Bibi was startled, hopefully not hurt by that kick
@@marthakratz7877 Yes, I don't think Yfke's kick connected. Horses seem very good at warning without doing damage, and also avoiding being kicked.
I also thought Yfke was floating as she was trotting. I think the only reason Yfke kick was that she was so stressed without her mem. After all she'd called and called for her. She had to have felt so scared & abandoned. I think Yfke is one of the most gentle & loving of all these horses! 😉 She can do no wrong in my eyes!!! Lol!

I really, really hope so. But then I saw lots of potential in Mathilde, too. She was such a stunning little filly and didn't get a Star predicate in the end. I'm still not over it 😆. Although she may get another chance at inspection after some more training, it seems.

I somehow guessed that these boys will love to drive carriage though they are not so keen to riding. Wheels on and it is so interesting. Best thing is that they can do this together. So the shettisis are not too small at all. ❤

A really heartwarming video. Young Rein did great with his driving Puck and Teije was clever taking Daisy round the stable. Yfke trots beautifully like Reintje and will look just like Reina in a couple of years. Good to see boss Rein driving Sanne , Reina and Alie and I hope he's feeling a bit better now. Aww Yfke is a bit confused weaning can be scary and worrisome but with Yvonne’s guidance and Bibi there for company she’ll soon relax and Reintje of course is still close as she answers her girls call which I’m sure gives her comfort. She had extra time with her mem bc of her need for extra milk and in a way this will also help the process bc it provided the deeper bond Yfke and Yvonne now have which is an added bonus/sense of security making the transition from baby to big kid much easier.🩷🐎👑 lol Puck has big opinions about driving today 😂😂💛💛

Oh. Be still my heart! When I saw Rein and Teije on the cart with Puck, I just had to say how adorable that was. And he really seems to be enjoying it. Such a sweet scene.
Yes! That huge smile of confidence on Rein’s face was priceless, and little Teije’s belly laughs on the back of the kart when it was going so fast, truly was a sweet scene to capture as well as for us ❤
It makes my day to see the boys having fun with the horses. Rein was very skilled at driving Puck. And Teije was sitting on back of the cart enjoying Puck pulling the cart very fast.

Rein and Teije used the blue cones well to create paths for Daisy and Puck. He was great in the driver's seat! Could picture Boss Rein giving him lessons. Teije was having a blast!
I agree I also was laughing when I saw Teije leaning way over to the side, probably trying to figure out the mechanics of the wheels spinning 😂 He might just be the mini Bauke the Tractor and handyman 😊

It's wonderful to see Rein and Teije learning the skills of horsemanship. There is a lot of good when we learn skills at a young age. They are both doing very well! Every time I see any horse the world is brighter. When I am able to help care for horses, all the overwhelming pressure of PTSD goes away. All the beautiful videos you have shared about your beautiful horses makes my heart melt. My one dream is to love on any horse from the smallest to the largest. Just to be around horses has become the driving force to loose the extra weight. One day, I will be able to spend time just keeping them company. I am so grateful of every time the beautiful young lady using her chair with shear joy shows just what an amazing friend you are. From my heart this has help me realize everyone has challenges. It is not the challenges that define who you are. It is what you do with your own challenges while making the most of what you have. Every horse, from birth to life's end shows the absolute total commitment given to these amazing animals. All the young ones learning to pull coaches was on my bucket list. Love to all!!!
I loved seeing Sanne again, and in front of the carriage!! Rein certainly loves those horses! It was great to see him drive the carriage, always one of my favorite videos! Allie is beautiful, she is stunning. It will be great to watch her!
