Wow what an underrated little car, it’s amazing! Like yourself we’ve been looking at transporters but they’re just unachievable for us financially at the moment.
i found this channel via your link from your man channel which i found a few days ago. I look forward to watching the progress on your allotment and also on the berlingo camper van build 👍
same idea, try just kipping in back it gives you thoughts for the future ,we stealth camped in blackpool and recent tour of scotland in a very basic state, great little vehicle that can go anywhere and cheap to run but like you say not a car that gets attention so perfect for the job look forward to watching how you get on nicene sam
go for it, the car can get anywhere on the single track roads and the scenery and nature to die for, great part of the world my other tip would be early spring or late autumn quiet ,midges are not a problem summer there are loads of vans especially nc 500 ,i pick areas in scotland ,and explore that area just done sutherland caithness my thoughts are cant wait for return ,wild scotland is amazing woke up to wild otters deer you wont want to go home its that good cheers sam@@ourmicroadventures
Just caught you, you've bought the best model there I was looking @ pugs & citreons then got my '04 Tranny connect for the right money to convert but have watched and followed loads of these great little vans ,mpv's being converted bit off advice keep all the cubbey holes and storage points they are brilliant and have you found the rear footwell cubbeys yet under the D shaped panels good look with the build hope to see out on the road I'm from Brum too 😀❤✌☮
Yes!! Those cubby holes in the floor are a great bonus, we don’t plan to get rid of any of the above storage but it defo limits the headroom. However thankful for the extra space, so it’s a pay off I guess 👍 if you see us in brum giz a beep beep 😂
I've not long sold our Peugeot Partner 2.0Hdi that I converted into a camper for my wife and I, we had some great breaks away in it. Looking forward to what you do with this.
The more glass you've got on the van, the colder it's gonna be in those fresh early spring and autumn nights, not to mention the loudness of the rain falling on that glass roof, waking you up at night. I'm not slagging you off with all my comments, just trying to warn you a little to what's in store (or could be) for you at the end of the line.
Yes we need to make sure we can stay warm, the sound of rain is good for me, I have it on every night as I suffer with tinnitus and it blocks it out 😊👍
Just bought one myself, drove up to Pershore Worcs, from Cornwall to get it, apart from a couple of dents, a small bit of surface rust, on 1 wing & arch, it's spanking, enough for me & my missus, perfect inside, no rips, clean ! it has 181 k miles. But get this, we paid just £450 for it !! & no smell, all the best with that mate, just hoping, & have no reason to think there is a problem, as long as back axle good, we've been proper lucky. I understand, I think I've discoverd it's a chain not a belt, I have ni history fir jt, but saw an upload saying they font need any apart from basic servicing 'words to that effect fir 500,000km ?? So, about 330,000 miles, anyone know if this is right for camchain & water pump ? I'm not a mechanic, obviously, just v v basic knowledge. We intend to make into a camper too as soon as we can. Good luck mate.

Graeme what a great project, it will be fun too but don’t bring your van down to London for a trip, you will be charged £12.50 per day ULEZ charge.

Why do you keep laughing mid sentence 🤔🤷♀️
Because I’m enjoying what I’m doing 😊
