i like league too yes it can be kinda tilting sometimes but still its the most fun game ive ever played and it keeps me hooked insanely fun to tryhard ranked with friends
A really cool detail is that when Caitlyn talks about her Mom and Jinx, the wind from the vents blows the petals all around like how she's caught up in an emotional whirlwind of rage and grief. But, when speaking of Vi, the wind calms down like at the eye of the storm, showing she is the one that keeps her more at peace in all of this.
The scene of Cait trying to get Vi to be an enforcer is so messed up, especially they way she acts offended that Vi is rejecting it, replying to the fact that enforcer's murdered her parents with the fact that Cait also knows how it feels, and yet somehow not getting that what she's asking is the equivalent of someone asking Caitlyn to team up with Jinx.
not really, Cait isnt asking vi to team up with specifically the same enforcers that killed her parents. Its moreso similar to if vi asked cait to side with zaun, which she somewhat does in act 2 even with jinx there. Im also pretty sure cait was very aware vi was going to decline. She wanted to try and also show vi that she doesnt want to sideline her due to vi being a zaunite.
I'm talking about the comparison vi makes directly, Enforcers killed her parents, and asks if Cait knows how that feels. Cait angrily replies she does, makes sense considering her mother just died, but regardless of her reason she is completely detached from understanding Vi's feelings. I would accept that she was just trying to include Vi if it weren't for the "I thought you were on our side." Which whether she intended it or not is just so manipulative and slimy. I've got hopes for Caitlyn and I still want them to make up, but I also very much think that her trauma has brought her to a very toxic place this season.
It's clearly that she wants Vi to be with her and fight by her side because she needs someone while she grieves. She just thinks the best way to do that is to make her an enforcer. Which is logical but they have vastly different backgrounds and vastly different relationships with the enforcers based on that. She can understand grief but she won't understand an institutional violence aimed against her.
@@komos3719 it's not just about wanting someone on her side while she grieves. She knows won't just sit and do nothing while they go after Jinx, she feels she's her responsability so eventually she will just take her weapons and go on her own, that's everything Cait doesn't want bc last time she did a risky mission with rushed plans on her own her mom died, she feels like doing that again is a death sentence, she feels Vi would die this time. So that's why she offers her to join, bc she knows Vi will do something and that's the safer way to do it, any other she sees it as Vi dying. Are personal feelings involved? Sure. But it's not just that.
I think Caithlyn was thinking « I know what it feels because your sister Jinx killed my mom but I still love you. And your parents were killed by enforcers but you still love me, right?» She’s not asking for Vi to be on the side of the enforcers, she’s asking Vi to be on her side and to accompany her. She’s asking her if their love is worth it… However Vi joins not for love but to protect the population.
Speaking of how Mel and Jayce are both uninjured. Take a look at the scene again where Salo is sitting in his wheelchair, looking at the roof as it rains. At the bottom right end of the screen you can see that the table and floor are undamaged. The floor basically looks like it has been waxed. The councilor who lost one eye was sitting next to Mel, with the undamaged side of her face closest to Mel. The rest of the councilors, who were all seated further away, got blown apart. Something definitely protected Mel, I just think she doesn't even know it herself.
I think its more likely actually that rocket didn't implode upon impacting window, but pierced it, flew past main 3 and hit the other end of council table
I saw a lot of people saying Cait was messed up for asking for Vi to join the enforcers but for me, Caithlyn was thinking « I know what it feels because your sister Jinx killed my mom but I still love you. And your parents were killed by enforcers but you still love me, right?» She’s not asking for Vi to be on the side of the enforcers, she’s asking Vi to be on her side and to accompany her. She’s asking her if their love is worth it… However Vi joins not for love but to protect the population.
well i think Vi joined for several reasons but the main one is she feels responsible for Jinx so protecting the population & helping the person she loves come with that too
Holy shit I didn't think I would live to see someone actually saying good things about League of Legends, as in the actual game. People meme against the game so hard that they forget there's a genuine fun game in there.
I think Mel protected Jayce. But she doesn’t want to add to his survivors guilt(or her own). We can see her subtly move the conversation away from that particular topic, she does care for him but she is a master at steering conversation with him
If she protected him with any kind of magical artifact or ability that isn't hextech she would have been in violation of the ethos, so if she did and knows it, she certainly couldn't talk about it.
If you look at the shot where they show the whole counsel room you can see the place mel and jayce were standing isnt cracked and is completely untouched. She def has some sort of power but im not entirely sure whether she activates it or it does it on its own.
In the final part of the scene this episode where the Council decides to invade Zaun, the pan zooms out showing the entire floor from a near top-down perspective. From this perspective, we can see a perfect circle of undamaged floor and table. If you compare the center of the circle to the final scene of Season 1, it's the same spot where Mel stood.
The Maddie and Vi scene wasn't a trick nor dirty move, it was genuine. And the other guy was genuinely drunk, it's implied he was drinking like that bc he lost someone in the attack.
@Silver_Elite they said it was all planted, even the loris, and that Maddie was tricking her when she just was making merits and keeping appearance like she does with everyone, it's actually not convenient for her to get Vi if she's trying to play dirty, it's just her playing nice as with everyone

Here is my squad to save the city: - a teenage cadet - a noname drunk from the street -greenskin cadet - a sister of most wanted terrorist in the city Yeah, great plan, girl. 😂😂😂
I think a lot of people are misinterpreting the Big Drunk Guy, especially regarding his blue jacket... I don't think the guy was an enforcer. I didn't pick up on it the first time, but its implied that he's drinking because he "lost somebody in the attack" - with that level of destruction, it probably wasn't just the council that took damage. This guy then hears about how she "took on Silco and his goons singlehandedly" which he registers, though he doesn't let her see. This creates respect for her on his part. They end up going to the memorial together, and because he's a big, powerful guy, he ends up being one of the "heroes" of the attack by defending the remaining councilors. And after the attack? Who exactly ends up being the "elite strike force"? - well, it's Cait, Vi and the 3 other "heroes." He's got the motivation to join up, and he's in the right place with the right aptitude and attitude for them to want him on the team. If he was just some aimless drunk guy living on the street, like people often seem to suppose, then this would all be pretty improbable.
Was waiting for this to pop-up in my notifications, now I am even more impatient for the next one! I love your channel and reactions because of the sheer amount of emotions you guys go through in just one episode of a show (especially this one) :D
tbh being paranoid about hidden plans is very good for this season, its going to serve the bros very well going forward. They just started the speculation a bit early.
Yeah, I was super confused why they thought this at all. It's pretty evident that the girl just admires Cait and given how much Cait clearly respected Vi, it makes sense that the girl was hyped to meet her.
they said in the discussion that they don't think it was a trick from Cait, but yeah it was a really weird take, specially bc they felt so sure about it
@@aaronyayger Personally, I would be very disappointed if she just ends up being nothing more than a naive Caitlyn follower and there isn't another twist to her character later.
It was likely just a confusion between what we know as an audience and what the characters know. Vi had just said no to Caitlyn, so there was no way yet for Maddie to know about it - she was just going by what she expected when Caitlyn vouched for Vi, that she joining was a sure thing. It was clear to me, but I can understand when reactors, who maybe face an expectation of analysing this kind of thing, may over analyze stuff some times.
Sometimes yall are the best reactors and then sometimes you misread so hard it's legitimately frustrating. There was no plan to emotionally manipulate Vi into joining with the enforcers. It's pretty obvious that it's not remotely planned. It's a dude she met randomly on the streets who was ALREADY laying there almost passed out, lest you forget. He perked up because he heard that she went after Silco herself. The same Silco who is now known as the big crime boss of the underground to the public. Maddie was very obviously just kinda starstruck meeting the woman who did that and was praised so immensely by Cait that she threatened to pull her family's funding to get her in. There's no puzzle here.
And on rewatching it, I did feel that there was *something* off about Maddie. Completely bought the starstruck officer the first time around, but there were some things about her demeanor that I couldn't even put my finger on right now that felt weird to me. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.
@@FonVegen Bro, you definitely are. I don't know how far you are into the season but there's literally no evidence to what you're thinking. She's not relevant enough to have that large of an arc.
I’ve been waiting for you guys! I have been watching all my favorite reactors during the week while I count the seconds until the next act drop. I normally bitch about series going to long but now I’m cursing that Arcane is only two seasons. But I’m also super excited to explore more of Runeterra, Ionia or Demasia please! Let’s Go!
act 2 is plenty focused, basically all of act 2 revolves around warwick, the problem isn't lack of focus, if anything there's too much focus to the point that it glosses over the fall out of act 1 to focus entirely on the warwick story
i think it's interesting the two different reactions cait and vi have to the attack. cait is obviously not in the right state of mind following her mother's death + the attack on the memorial help, but i think her inherent bias against the undercity shows itself in how she dismisses the attack as the work of senselessly violent crazy people. the way she bites out "animals" feels especially derogatory (reminiscent of how jayce says "dangerous!" when referring to undercity residents last season). but vi, as someone from the undercity, is able to recognize the attack for what it is. it's targeted, and politically motivated. notice how well planned it is. notice how the main targets of the attack are politicians and military personnel (both valid targets during a war). notice how when civilians are fleeing in fear, none of the attackers try to stop them. if any civilians did die or get hurt in the attack, i believe it's incidental, not intentional. the purpose was not to just kill as many people there as possible at random, but to keep the pressure on piltover, keep them off balance, don't give them the chance to mourn and recover and move on. the war is not over.
Ah I've been waiting for you guys, been following you since season 3 of RWBY, can't wait for your reactions to the new heartbreaks Arcane's gonna unleash!
You guys are overthinking things (again xdd), Maddie talking to Vi wasn't some kind of setup to recruit her, if that was the case then Caitlyn would have been the one to do the setup... and at this point of the story im certain she wouldn't just straight-up manipulate Vi. And the drunk guy pretending to be asleep to overhear the conversation is most likely just nosy, that's all. Of course... i could be proven wrong once the season is completed, but im fairly certain im right. You guys are the only reactors i've seen to interpret the scene that way xddddd.
i think maddie talking to vi is to make us understand why vi joins the force (seeing that there are poeple admiring her), its a setup from writers not caitlyn. And drunk guy hearing the conversation is because both to show there is something about him more than we know and also he reacts a little when he hears vi's confirmation that she will be in the force, make us understand that he isnt a person that blindly supports piltover. That whole scene is a whole set up and exposition of the 2 characters, and an introduction to a new character (orange hair girl) that we see why she is important in the later parts.
@@shimasanjiko4241 yes, you are correct… but the way Caleb and Jacob are talking about it gives the impression that they think that Maddie and Loris being there with Vi is literally a premeditated setup to make her join the Enforcers, as in… within the story itself and not just a narrative setup.
18:50 … yeah no, not at all 😒 idk how sometimes you guys are so good and predict the most random twists, and sometimes you just ignore everything happening on screen and come up with some fairytale 😅 He looked up because Silco was mentioned and how Vi alone moved against him, he is literally the big bad underground boss everyone knows. You saw literally seconds before that he was lying drunk in the alley, and that Vi was the one initiating the contact And Maddie literally like she said, was interested because Caitlyn, literally went ballistic to get her into the enforcers, and literally threatened to withdraw her family money
23:28 damn, nearly as if the mother of the child that Jayce killed wanted revenge. The one who literally controlled the shimmer fabrics, and those shimmer suits 😅
Have you guys seen the Ambessa-centered Blood Sweat and Tears cinamatic? It's not necessary to the story but Itself very good and I'd be interested in seeing your guys' take on it
Your "comment in its entirety" doesn't make sense. A retired enforcer doesn't wear an enforcer uniform. Neither would he be assigned to an active strike force at the end of the episode. ;)
nah cait do not get it really cait asking vi to join those who killed her parents and help them out while jinx killed cait's mother (1 parent) and cait was not on jinx's side really.. more likely she is the one who pushed her to do it after fking up the conversation between vi,jinx and silco
Little bit late to this train, but I am really disappointed with what we got of Ekko, Jayce, and Hemierdinger this season. Most importantly in this episode. Ekko and Hemierdinger never acknowledge the attack and what it meant for the council. And Caitlyn and Vi forgot to mention the Jinx did the attack and Jayce cried in a corner while if Zaun still gave Jinx to Piltover, there would have been a 100% chance of peace. Again, none of that happened because characters were acting dumb. Like shouldn't Caitlyn do anything to get Jinx at this point and she was great friends with Jayce. I know Jayce is concerned about Viktor, but it would only take one coversation, and guess where Jayce should have talked to Caitlyn...? At her moms funeral. Anyways, That's just the first 5 minutes. I am sure that is the only issue this season...
Appearantly, after Jinx fired the rocket, with Vi and Kate right next to her, they all just said goodbye and wished a nice day to each other and went their separate ways…

17:26 I understand now 😢
this show is honestly perfection seeason 2 is even better than season 1 i think so far
@@shimasanjiko4241 yes, you are correct… but the way Caleb and Jacob are talking about it gives the impression that they think that Maddie and Loris being there with Vi is literally a premeditated setup to make her join the Enforcers, as in… within the story itself and not just a narrative setup.
within 48 hrs
LOL TFT will be based off ARCANE, you can check it in your LOL account
18:50 … yeah no, not at all 😒 idk how sometimes you guys are so good and predict the most random twists, and sometimes you just ignore everything happening on screen and come up with some fairytale 😅
He looked up because Silco was mentioned and how Vi alone moved against him, he is literally the big bad underground boss everyone knows. You saw literally seconds before that he was lying drunk in the alley, and that Vi was the one initiating the contact
And Maddie literally like she said, was interested because Caitlyn, literally went ballistic to get her into the enforcers, and literally threatened to withdraw her family money
19:54 no it’s not, it’s a random person in enforcer cloths
23:28 damn, nearly as if the mother of the child that Jayce killed wanted revenge.
The one who literally controlled the shimmer fabrics, and those shimmer suits 😅
24:24 We hear a few minutes ago in the Caitlyn and Vi scene that the gauntlets are destroyed/not working … and that she wanted Jayce to repair them
Man sometimes you guys are so perceptive and sometimes it’s so frustratingly far off
how far ahead is the patreon
HERE WE FUCKING GOOOOOO (Yes i support the patreon and yes I'm watching here instead bc the patreon mobile site sucks )
Have you guys seen the Ambessa-centered Blood Sweat and Tears cinamatic? It's not necessary to the story but Itself very good and I'd be interested in seeing your guys' take on it
Honestly yall gotta let go of the gameplay aspect of league for arcane cuz i guarentee you they are not putting up 5v5 compositions😭
Arcane season 2 reactions are gonna sustain me until whatever the next show is comes out
Oh god...I started playing TFT because of arcane 😦
Drunkard guy is not an enforcer, he strikes me as a retired enforcer at best but he's definitely smarter than he lets on.
Drunkard guy is an enforcer. You can literally see him in an enforcer uniform when they first meet.
@@Vizible21 Read my comment in its entirety before kneejerk responding...
Your "comment in its entirety" doesn't make sense. A retired enforcer doesn't wear an enforcer uniform. Neither would he be assigned to an active strike force at the end of the episode. ;)
SPOILERS :
We ended first season with Jinx's Ult and second seaso with Ekko's ult. They were even more meant to be together, and i'm even more sad now
oh hell yeah
does anyone know why caleb always drinks his water off camera? it's always been so interesting to me
stay out of my boy's throat, yo 😤
@@_ampersand lolol just a curiosity
Arcane doesn't miss
Finally guys
nah cait do not get it really
cait asking vi to join those who killed her parents and help them out
while jinx killed cait's mother (1 parent)
and cait was not on jinx's side really.. more likely she is the one who pushed her to do it after fking up the conversation between vi,jinx and silco
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO
YIPPEEE
It’s not good in here!!! Turn back now!!! Save yourselves from pain!!!!
Arcane accelerate. Spam videos brothers
My condolences for falling on that life sucking vice.
see you in there.
Appearantly, after Jinx fired the rocket, with Vi and Kate right next to her, they all just said goodbye and wished a nice day to each other and went their separate ways…
Good sirs, may we kindly request subs for those of us for whom English is a second language so we can hear better?
its quite a job though and most channels with subs have it because their subscribers make it for them.
😚😚😚😚😚
this is the last season of arcane..
for now... bwahahaha
ref
Don't think too much about the game people will die
It's finally back to save anime again

I'm sorry bois, but "League" and "relaxing" can't be in the same sentence in a positive manner
I come from the future:
This is disappointing.
