My observation skill is very bad, so I'm unable to make proper relationship of placement to copying shape from refrences... Any tips to improve such area?

Sorry for the late reply.
Try drawing few bargue plates, it will improve your observational skills tremendously.
Google it if unaware of sight size drawing. This is a very good method.
