As a leader, I don't have to bring up my predecessors every time I open my mouth. It's the soap opera way. You know how they keep stating the same thing from character-to-character to lead you to believe what they want on the shows. Unfortunately, 45 is still following a script. He knows what he wants for he and his family but it seems like he is listening to all those around for what they want and this displays his uncomfortableness during his teleprompter and pre-written speeches. I have noticed how he tries to expound on the speeches he likely skimmed over before coming out to present them. For example, if there was something like... "police departments have been engaging in reducing funds to increase support for effective social programs" He would say something like... 'police departments, so many police departments, have been engaging in reducing funds to increase support for so-called effective social programs (pause to add more) ... this is what is happening all across the United States you see police departments reducing their funds... this is crazy, the Democrats and President Obama..." blah blah blah. If you ask which police departments, which social programs, how much was reduced, whether the social programs were effective - he is unable to answer any of those questions. This results in him going on the attack and name calling as well as going back to poll numbers, etc. This is what the Republican convention will be about - they can only deflect that this Administration is not prepared for America's greatest challenges that have occurred - or could occur. The job of President is not one that should involve OJT - like any job, the "most experienced person" should fill the shoes and role of the position - at "this time" that is clearly "America Strong - Vice President Joe Biden" and "For The People" - Kamala Harris.
