just a tip for those new to Ti titanium bolts, always best to use any sort of anti seize as they have a tendency to seize via a galvanic bonding so beware guys!

Poor Daiki, he wouldve been so much better off with a dogbox setup or the cheap route n went with a 5spd ZF from a e46. But im loving so much 2jz content lately between Sam, Jimmy, and Adam especially cus i just pulled the trigger to have a 800hp fully forged 2jz shortblock for my GS300.
Make sure your using the longer valve cover bolts on the outside and the shorter bolts on the inside by sparks plugs
Love how both Sammit and Jimmy are building their 2JZ drift builds at the same time. Nice seeing the differences between the 2 having different access to parts.

Can't wait to see you rip this. Just saw both of Adam Lz's 3.4L 2JZs. Interesting the difference between the OEM and front facing intake manifold. Since you have the front facing I guess that just means you have to take it right up to the limit haha. Noice!

Hit up the Kiwis over in NZ and get them to send a Fenix radiator to run in the comp car.You won't be disappointed. Alot of drivers run Fenix on their cars their stuff is quality. You can't ever go wrong with a 2JZ. You Adam and Jimmy are all building 2JZs for each of yalls comp cars and its crazy to see just how different each of yalls engines came out. I just learned a few months back just how many different versions of a 2jz there are. I forsee a few wins and or podiums from Sammit this year

Please tell me you centered the main thrust bearing. Also I've only ever in the last 15 years seen one person break oil pump gears. It'd not common at all on jz's.

i took my old volvo engine over 10k RPM and EVERY piston ring in the engine cracked in to MINMIM two part's moste was just smal part's. STIL the piston did not brake.
