I’m so mad I didn’t watch it: I went to bed 5 minutes before the end of the regular game.

I am so happy for Mecole. He's such a good dude and works his tail off. He had some low moments this season, and people were criticising him, but the team never gave up trust in him. Couldn't be happier for him.
My whole family of KC fans called me crazy when I told them I wanted Kansas City to trade back for him and look where he’s at now.
I remember being SO PUMPED that he was coming back to KC mid-season! He’s an incredible dude and I’ve been singing his praises since day 1. I am thrilled for him. He deserves the love and he was ready for the moment.
Sad when he left, happy when he got traded back, ecstatic that he was the one that caught the game winning touchdown.
It sucked, cause I felt he was really starting to become a decent WR3. The trade to the Jets set him back overall & by the time the Chiefs got him, he needed a couple/few months to get back up to a good level. Of course, then he gets hurt, which set him back even more, but he had two major grand in this game. One was the 60 yard bomb to him in the first half & even though Pacheco fumbled right after that play (something he’s only done once this year!) it was still a huge play. Then he ran that corndog route to perfection & won the game! I’m really happy for him☺️

I've loved Mecole since the moment we drafted him in KC. I remember seeing that he bought his momma a house with his first big paycheck and it was the most amazing thing. He's gone through a lot in his short career and so happy he got the winning TD in this years game after missing last year due to injury.

Man this is so cool. The 2022 season I was at the Monday night game against the Titans when Hardman got injured. Prior to the injury during a timeout he was standing near where he would return a punt when the break was over. My section started chanting his name & he acknowledged it. Him being the guy to catch the last pass of the season is the highlight of all of this. Go Chiefs!

I was torn watching both teams Montana played for compete in the Super Bowl. It all boiled down to Bert Bell's saying, "On any given Sunday." I feel for the Niners 💔 and rejoice with the Chiefs. ❤ Both teams played one hellava game. 🏈🏆

This is awesome for Mecole. He had an injury plagued season last year and didn't get to contribute basically at all, then goes to the Jets and doesn't even get any snaps, only to come back to the Chiefs and be a major piece in winning it all. He's a 3x champion, but this is the first time he's actually getting any lime light considering Mahomes and Kelce are usually the ones soaking that all up.

Was not familiar with Mecole. When we were watching, you could tell he blacked out and had no idea how significant that catch was til a couple seconds later. Super charming and funny dude.

II saw the replay where Mahomes was miced up. I don't think Hardman knew until Mahomes ran at hiim yelling "we won!" or somethiing like that
a quick history. He was drafted the second season Mahomes was the starter. Because of his speed(very close to Tyreek) the receivers were called the Legion of Zoom. He's been in every Super Bowl Mahomes has been in. Mahomes has called him his favorite receitver more than once. When his rookie contract was up, they let him slip away to the Jets, who for some reason, didnt use him. He dropped a few passes and the Jets, let him waste away and Veach and Reid brought him back mid-season. Not many would have trusted him in that situation to win the Super Bowl, but Mahomes always will.

Go Chiefs! Thanks they’re closing all the schools on Wednesday so anyone who wants to go to the parade they can! I’m about 60 miles south of KC! It’s red Wednesday!
The cities in the kc metro area has been doing this every victory parade since royals won world series in 2015
The funny thing is, a lot of the KS side schools weren't (Monday morning had only Shawnee Mission schools closed wed), stating "we've already had 5 snow days this year to make up, and it is only February, we still have a lot more winter to go". The parents started calling their kids in out for Wed, and by Monday evening most of the districts caved and called off school. I know this because 2 of my brothers have kids in KS districts that were going to stay open Wed (Blue Valley and Spring Hill). I'll be watching the parade and festivities on TV, well, when I'm not at my PT appt 😆
