My song "Gold" is about a man who lost his wife and is left behind with his son. The song portrays the man being at his wits end. Eventually he decides that he is going to live his wife’s dreams that she couldn’t fulfill. In the meantime he holds onto her ashes so he can find closure in his desperation.
