After being 8n the street and system knowing the pain connected to it,i could not imagine bringing my son into it.

Yup. Between 2010 and 2013 My friend moved there in her first apartment and a guy rant into her back door and held her and her classmate at gunpoint while he looked for things in the home to rob. Another friend divorced and moved there with her 1 year old but it was breaking of the mailboxes and gang violence in the neighborhood that made her leave the complex but the complex was actually very nice and spacious🤷🏽♀️
