Seeing this show as a kid- I didn’t feel much excitement or any sort of interest. But being older and re watching this on Paramount + I must say: This show really would’ve been nice continuing after 1 season. Albeit, I think the ending of this series (before Nick said they had no plans to renew it for a 2nd season), it really encapsulated the aspect of Popularity Vs Humility. High school is the perfect time to display social status and hierarchy. The main character thought being popular was everything. Until she was made fun of and her social dominance and popularity fell flat. But it wasn’t until she met gravity 4 and became gravity 5 that she learned the idea of learning “how to rock” with genuine hearted people and prevailing through all else. When gravity 5 snuck into the Cee Lo concert and performed, it was their shining moment. Until Cee Lo wanted Kacey and she took up on the offer to go on tour to become famous. But realizing how much being on tour and potentially being popular must’ve felt: she humbled herself. Realized that she has a support foundation that’s bigger and more opportunistic and worthwhile than fame. Even when gravity 4 was recasting a new lead singer, it showed that Kaceys place with the group was just as important as it was the moment it started. (Of course we have to throw in that Cee Lo green crashes their battle of the bands and performs with them). And he himself realizes that there’s potential. But Kasey belongs with her friends. And being famous or popular doesn’t define your value or worth. It’s the connections you make that last longer than fame.

Most underrated Nick show of its time, definitely deserved another season. Also I still have a crush on Lulu to this day.
