My favorite memory: was seeing MB for the umpteenth time. Had a sign that read "Paul May I Have a Drumstick." As they were exiting stage, Paul tossed one my way. Flew way over my head. Welp. Encore begins. As he walks back on stage he gives me a super quick head nod. As they start playing I get a tap on the shoulder. One of their security guys. "This is from Paul." He hands me two drumsticks. I still have them almost 15 years later. Best band ever.

In September 2013, I was living hard times with my sick mother living her last days (she died in October 2013), and in the middle of those days, MB20 came to MEXICO CITY, it was surreal and also magical. Even though I was in difficult days, the music did its magic and MB20 gave me happiness in the dark. I hope MB20 returns to my country and I think if I enjoy them in hard times now that that's over, I'm looking forward to a concert in better times.

On leave from the Marines in 1997 I took my little brother to see mb20 in a small club. The show was so good. We played pool with Rob and without knowing who they were. He dedicated push to my brother., Came off the stage, spotlight on us, out his arms around us and says" I love seeing brothers love each other. This one's for you two". Then Kyle started the push riff.....it was amazing.
Best band ever! Best melodie’s, best lyrics, best men! All of them, superb artists. 💕 Rob will always be the #1 singer/songwriter in my book.
About 15 years ago someone told me that lyrics I'd written had a Matchbox Twenty feel to them. To this day it's still the greatest compliment I've ever gotten about anything I ever wrote. Still can't believe I was ever mentioned in the same breath as such an epic group.

Those who are saying that this sound is not a MB20, it seems to me that they are speaking out of ignorance, lack of knowledge, they really do not know all their material and they should be aware that MB20 are great musicians and can make different types of music : rock, soft rock, hard rock, pop, etc. I love and enjoy this song and I love to dance for example PUT YOUR HANDS UP. For me this is and sounds like MB20 and I love it!!! And yes, yes, yes, I also expect heavy rock, soft rock, rock, and actually something even with country sounds or with ukelele!! They are great musicians and can do whatever they want, and we peopole that really love and know all their sounds still appreciate all their music. June 10, 2023 Red Ring, MN… got my tickets today. 3rd or 4th time seeing Matchbox live. Awesome live band. Mega talents. Thank you for the years of joy. I used to play cassette then CD on my drives to Red Wing (way back in the day) from Wisconsin. Back then was 5 hrs but now I’m closer so 3 hrs. Can’t wait!!! ❤

This is one of their best songs! WOW guys! I listened to everything from the first release to now and there still killing it, pumped for the future of this band!!!!!
This band has been with me through the most monumental moments in my time on earth…Funny story…My whole family plays and sings something, on both sides of the family…Not all of us are too terribly talented haha…When I was a young boy, 25+ years ago, during our family reunions in the summer, we would all gather around the fire with our instruments and could never really agree on what to play…as we were all different with different styles and tastes…The one band that we could all AGREE on was Matchbox…We would play all the gems from back then, Long Day, Push, 3am (absolutely our favorite), back 2 good, pretty much the whole CD of Yourself or Someone Like You…And when we were all done playing around the fire, that is the only CD we would play for the entire reunion…Even my parents could agree on that one CD, which is a victory, if you asked me…Anyway, anytime I hear Matchbox Twenty I am quickly reverted back to those summers as a kid…Such a great memory to share…And this is an absolute bop…I’m convinced that Rob can’t do no wrong

It's so awesome... I grew up loving MB20. Your music helped me through my young adult years (you can't even know how much). And now, with 7 kids (3 of them teenagers), I feel like this song is a gift to them. The world is out there calling to you. Go find adventure!!! It's a call to the joy of youth that I'm now enjoying (again) through my kids.

I am definitely liking this song a lot . My wife is finally getting to see this band after so many years of her being a huge fan of these guys .Due to my being in dialysis I cannot go myself but nothing wrong with her going to the show in Pelham Alabama this June for the concert along with some camping ,fishing ,hiking and visiting the nearby railroad museum in Calera by herself .She deserves some down time on her own after what all she has to deal with on a daily basis with my and her own health issues .

Thank you. Your deep and very real music has always moved me and I can almost always identify, relate, or empathize with every song's message. Through COVID as a hospice nurse a couple of your songs made it to my charting play list and carried some of my worries, heartache, and sadness right away. Pre-covid too. I don't know if I could have written out the things I encountered without the music of MB 20 and a few others drowning out the sights, smells, pain, and death I wrote about and saw every night. Some mornings I couldn't sleep after without you or similar in my ear either. Thank you for that strength and distraction from the suffering and pain. Don't stop. 3AM will always be when I have my nightmares that's true but it will always be your best song too and some days 3AM gets me through 3AM and I'm sure this one will once or twice too it seems. Thanks for spreading love and healing through music and don't doubt you do!!!!
