The Cat Returns Recap:
Haru Yoshioka is a shy but noble high school student with an unspoken ability to communicate with cats. She saves a cat from being hit by a truck on a busy road one day. Lune, Prince of the Cat Kingdom, is revealed to be the cat she saved. The cats thank her with catnip and mice, and she is offered the Prince's hand in marriage. Her muddled response is interpreted as a yes.
Haru, who doesn't want any of this, hears a kind female voice tell her to find Muta, a large white cat, and ask him for directions to the Cat Bureau. After meeting Muta who helps her to get to the cat Bureau, she makes two more friends there. While they`re trying to give her solutions, she`s kidnapped and brought to the cat kingdom and is asked to marry the prince forcefully. Later, the friends that she made at the bureau, a cat that she helped when she was a kid and prince Lune help her in escaping the Cat Kingdom and she then turns into a human again.

Just watched this a week ago and I love the Baron.
This studio has the old Disney magic
Haru's friend's name is Hiromi, Naoko is Haru's mother. Toto is a crow in the movie, magpie in the manga. Yuki's clearly wearing a pink bow. The only way Prince Lune helped her escape was by helping to distract the king and his soldiers.
Normally I wouldn't nitpick, but as you can tell from my icon, this movie is near and dear to me.
I was about to say that. Oh did you know there's gonna be a live action Whisper of the Heart. Baron's design is based on his old look from Whisper. I saw the trailer and so far it looks good!
@@9Tailsfan I am extremely hopeful that the Japanese are better at doing Live Action remakes better than some 'others' I could choose to mention. But I've seen it and yes, Baron looks amazing!
