i still remember playing this song with the beginners and high schoolers all on one field. we didn’t sound the greatest but i’ll never forget the fun i had.
Pep band is just wild, some of the most fun memories of my freshmen year, and I still have three more years to do it
That’s all that should matter ❤️
It was so fun!
I’m laughing so hard about the trumpet comments and clarinet comments and I’m over here being my marching band’s enthusiastic tambourine player XD
Dramarch S A M E. I’m only assigned auxiliary because to carry any other percussion instruments while marching is to much stress on my lungs.
I got to be the rattlesnake in 7th grade because I played tambourine. Which was supposed to be a rattlesnake. My friend played wood block, I would say “beware of the rattlesnake”, and she would say “beware of the pop” because every time she played, it was a quarter note. Ah memories. 😂
@@NanaSama à xx
I love the tambourine!! But my main is clarinet so…
More power to ya!
This song had the best drum solo when it came to our band!
Man I'm a snare drummer and I'm ready to have fun with this solo🤣
its so awesome, we have one our songs as "Finale; dont feed the plants" from little shop of horrors and we added a huge drum break and its so awesome
When i played this all i thought was
*"QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE AFTER QUARTER NOTE"*
IT STILL HAUNTS ME TO THIS DAY
Ton Eye T I only have like two quarter notes through out the whole song
U low brass or high
AJ Nadow tuba so low
Quarter note.
*laughs in crotchets*
You played bass drum on this, I assume?
This perhaps the most band kid arrangement I've heard in my life I love it
our percussion section would scream everyday i’m shuffling
Sounds like something our percussion would do 😂
In my band says it.
Our whole band shouted it.
As percussionists do 😂 I speak from experience
Drumline and low brass vibe the most in band
Played this my 8th grade year in marching band. As I am about to graduate this Sunday (5/28/17) I am going through some old music and this song is bringing back all the memories. I'm going to miss playing my trumpet under the Friday night lights
Edit: and now I am finding my way back to this about to graduate college! Oh how time flies
Any tips for a sophomore first time trumpet player?
@@volgayno7382 yes sure I'm a junior french horn player and I know some stuff
@@volgayno7382 same here!
@@volgayno7382 I'm guessing you're a junior now? I am a Senior trumpeter. I recommend getting a Bach 3C mouthpiece, as it makes you sound crisp, without losing your chops.
@@TNTMusic5757 I am a Junior now! I'll actually be a senior next year, and I'm planning to go for section leader! I've gotten significantly better than when I first started, and I can play the full range! Thank you for the suggestion, though!
Started tearing up as I have just graduated. Band camp started last week and the most ill get anymore is playing our songs to this video. I WANNA GO BACK😭😭
Also looking into some bands to keep it going and keep my music demons at bay
We are playing this for a parade tomorrow! Love this song!
I'm doing this for a colorguard routine this year!! Its gonna be so exciting!
Pp09olllOKokkkuii.iiiiijiu
Yay finally someone else in guard!
I’m like a decade late but I’m doing this for my cg routine to audition for captain 🙈
It just sounds so good and I get tingly when I play it with my band.
I'm playing this at our homecoming game tonight and I got my band directors permission to let my dad play with us 😂 we'll both be on snare
This song is such a vibe, the band version is honestly better than the original
Me and my fellow first trumpets were almost crying when we found out we had to play this- it actually ended up being a really fun challenge!
Honestly that was my exact reaction to seeing this song
I'm starting band camp this fall and after reading the comments to all of these band arrangements I'm slightly terrified
I may be a bit late but how was it?
How was ittt???
How was it???
This is a good marching piece that we are playing next year in our high school marching band.
Me, a trombonist, started playing seven nation army during the percussion solo and it sounds so badass 0:57
Tuck_Rex trombone brothers
Lol. We are playing 7 Nation army right now. I can see it fitting in
Our director: “Warm up for a couple minutes on your own!”
Our meme lord band: *Plays Seven Nation Army in perfect sync*
Bruh that is lit
Omg I love this 😂 Seven Nation Army is where its at
With any music in the world, I love playing the french horn parts. It's so easy which is good for me, but we also tend to have a very bad habit of blasting a little because of how we have our bells facing. Other than the playing of my high school band and how we play as a group (sound level-wise), I think that our band could pull this song off easy. We already play a tiny bit of it and its so freaking fun!
Were playing this for our season this year and well thank the gods i play alto saxophone
Doing this for Fourth of July this year! I can’t wait!
Thanks a lot for the lively musical score that made as champion in the recent fancy drill competition for the boy scouts during the 2017 BSP Jamboree.
This song is amazing! (Says the trumpet)
You can barely hear the flutes. Flutes have the melody throughout the whole song along with trumpets.
+nirvana becerra no tbones tuba and baratone and also trumpets have the melody
no we all do flutes have it the most
so.... yeah
+nirvana becerra you didnt have to be a flute, you couldve played trumpet like me :)
+Ryan Slater one i play the flute in band but i know how to play the trumpet and sax and almost every instrument in the band so... u dont have any right to tell me that i could have played trumpet. i know i could have but i did not so deal with it
It's surreal listening to these songs after battle of the bands to study what the other schools got wrong and not noticing anything.
My daughter is a cheerleader and she loves to dance to this!
I need to play this omg
Brings back high school memories.. 😔
I am a silk in marching band and i love dancing to this song under the stadium lights with my marching band family. I love marching band with all my heart
this brings back memories-

I wanna play this soooo bad!!
Everyone that isn't in the brass section: "Every day I'm sufferin'"
I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I still do 😊
Playing this for my concert tomorrow ^^
We did this song my freshman year and my band director came up with a dance for us to do during the percussion solo. (It was beautiful xD)
Oml that sounds amazing
DUDE LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME BUT THIS YEAR
I appreciate the amount of trumpet 2 you can hear
Paul Murtha making trombones rest over every cool thing since idek
Topíssimo!!!
We would not be able to handle saying "every day I'm shufflin"
We are doing this year and it has also been stuck in my head for ages and ages since we got it
I have to play this at my town’s parade. I’m an alto sax player.
That sounds so much fun
@@kingcharizardakaCX It went pretty well, with what I can remember 😂
Fun fact, same Eb Alto Sax?
I love
Music
I'm going to try and have my band director put this in our show next year
Mink Minecraft we just did it a couple weeks ago for our homecoming game
Did you succeed?
Lol I remember this in my high school marching band years! XD
I was a tuba player, and we did a little tuba dance!

Played this song for the first few half time shows , but we recently chose to cut this song due to the amount of music we already had ( 17 , depending on if you were a 9th grader or upper class men.
เพราะมากกกก

Playing this for band
They say everyday I'm suffeling so much better than my band, I think everyone just whispers it or something.

WHERE MY PERCUSSION AT?

HEYYYYY!
Funny story. My percussion instructor thought the bass drum part was boring, since its only bass four (me). So he changed it to something completely different.

I was looking for this comment
Is my highschool marching band the only one that does a dance break during percussion solos in songs?
Any percussion here?
hydro sooner heck yeah boi!
Ain... Toco essa música na banda marcial
I'm first trumpet and my section just refuses to play this song which is so sad bc my part doawnt sound as cool without them
I play clarinet and when I went to band camp we played that
nahhh Saxophone is where it is i play all of them 😍💪💪💪😇
Did this in band best song.
We played this for two two years in band, but we probably wont this year
Being but ge alone base drummer and playing iutbin this sing siunds awesome
Wow I can't type with a crap
I play the trumpet
Me too
Party rock is in the hou
Those quads be like 😍😍😍
My band has this in our folders but I've never played it in my four years of high school and three director changes. Probably because a huge chunk of the band their copy is written, like on printer paper with crappy lines drawn in but some people have a real copy. It's so bizarre.
nice
I played this on saxophone in my band
WHERE IS THE CLARINET?!?!?! We would be an awesome counter melody!!!!
Right! Us clarinets barely get the melody
ya
Ty Fan ikr
+Ty Fan Ha, clarinets barely get the melody! Tell that to low brass or percussion...
@@trevors3908 Facts
I play the tuba
It would have been nice to hear a little bit more flute, piccolo, and clarinet but other than that, it's pretty good.
Well at the same time you share the melody with the loudest instruments 😂 It'd be nice to be able to hear them
+Jaden Gerber True I guess. All us band geeks have a big ego one way or another and want to be heard over everyone else. (especially trumpets but they already are heard and they're adorable when they feel accomplished on getting their part perfected lol)
+Taylor West I don't know if adorable is the right word for us. But overall very true
Do you have anyone in your family that is a science 8th grade teacher?
Good
yass percussion has a solo
why this go harder than the actual song
My son this for CSEN primary school concert at school
What music app did you use
Can we just mention 0:39 is such a bop
Does the Hal Lenore Marching Band ever watch these videos and say “Man I am good!”
I am playing this on friday (9/30/22) thing is I am really new to my instrument(tenor sax)and I am the only one who plays at my band. Wish me luck🥲
