Good demo. First time I heard of a pineapple eye remover. I have a Vacu Vin pineapple peeler but this method looks more efficient. I'd recommend juicing the peel and core in something like an Omega VRT350 to utilize even more of the pineapple.
I bought this tool from Mr. Matayoshi and I can honestly say that removing pineapple eyes after you peel it is very very easy indeed. some of my facebook friends are asking where to buy this tool after I post a picture of the peeled pineapple and I refer them to this video.

Only Sweet on one side because friut picked too early. Yes it Can ripen on counter. But its like cutting umbilical cord too early. The moment fruit cut from the plant all sugar and nutrients halt. Essentially it still tastes greenish when it yellows on counter. Bananas too. I grow them in my yard.

cuidado cuando usas una cuchilla, mientras vi el video , note que pasaban muy fino de tus dedos, casi mas y te pelabas la manos junto con la piña...luego esa mesa no sirve xD...bien por la herramienta para sacar lo que sobra
We are in the #Philippines I work in a fruitstand more over 13 years, this is same way as we do peeling the pineapple. The difference is we wear gloves and apron, for the splitting parts of the pineapple.

If you don't remove the top part, you can use it as a handle and it's much easier.
