That isn't your glow plugs that has a 2.4 Perkins diesel that engine is direct injection if you look on the intake manifold there is type of glow plug but what you do is heat it up and above the button there is another and what happens is you push other one it sprays fuel on the hot bulb in the intake and lights it but you do it when cranking the engine and heated helps start engine the reason I know my dad is 89 and has owned a1962 model since 1970 so yea I now alittle about the tractor
I got dexta '62 and have some issues with gearbox/clutch, can you change the gear on the run? with the clutch of course :-P I can switch the gear on idle, but on the run I am afraid the metal noises comming from the gearbox in 3:58 :-D

The dexters are reliable they can be a pain in the hole cause the gear stick keeps poping up
Yes sometimes my gear stick gets stuck in gear and you have to take off the cover to put it back in place

My grandpa has a 1960 dexta and its a pain to start it in the winter
