I think some people here are missing the point. My Dad was a Rocker on a Triumph in the 60's and his Dad before the term Rocker was invented. I've been riding since 86 and I'm the third generation of what some would call a Rocker. 3 generations have visited the TT and 3 generations have fixed and rode bikes. Some people ;o) ride "modern's" some ride "classics". Were not recreating anything it was and IS a way of life. A Rocker and proud.
Great scene been riding since 81 never been without bike .have a harley a triumph and a yam 250 .would buy classic and use it but the prices are crazy for 50.60s be its.
on the day, the majority of these bikes had foreign number plates and as for myself its a 600m return trip to do the Ace/Brighton run...a LOT of us folk have classic bikes as well but don't wanna have breakdowns, blow ups,etc on a long run like this!
theres always one haa i cant for the life of me ride a vespa ,tryed it,didnt like it,nearly died ..i got a mod mate we cruise round causing mayhem and lots of noise we get on well enough so its all good
i have two t150v triumph"s chap,i love them to bits and get my hands dirty ,but why wear a uniform i am my own person .rockers were cool in there day but most are now in care homes.
why try and live in the past, rockers died in thesixties, you cant re create something i think thats sad.looks like a fancy dress party but probably cool in its day.

Respected from a mod early 79 but I'd still rather ride a scooter 🛵
Your right, lets get rid of all classic bikes, cars, clothes ect ect. whats the point in enjoying some thing that was good :)
