My current record was 411m on a whitetail with the .270...but I did also somehow manage to pull off a 308m heart shot on a moose with the .44 Magnum, which somehow feels way more impressive to me.

can someone explain this for me i hit a cape buffalo in the thoriac spine close range with the 7mm and it didn’t go down and crazily enough i found the same one later at a feed zone it was a level 6 and i mad sure it was a thoriac spine when i claimed because i did bring it down with a neck shot but i’m just confused on how a spine shot didn’t kill it

I can confirm you don’t need a vital shot. I got the achievement yesterday on a moose with the starting rifle I was so happy I just left the moose to live (I think it lived anyway)
