    Hi ,Some cameras work and others give error 10902.
    I haven`t found the reason. even with a stream 2 of 640x380.

    I own two these indoor units. Too bad that there is no option of changing background or theme. Text (Call, Message, Live View, Settings) is barely visible. White on white, come on.

    Hi. On this. I added a DS-2CV2046G0-IDW to the indoor station as you showed here and it works fine. I then added a DS-2CV2026G0-IDW as the second cam on my indoor station as you showed here and it works fine. I then added a third camera DS-2CV2026G0-IDW but this one i am unable to get to view. I get error: "Starting live view failed. Error code: 10706" Any advice? I am sure I did everything the same on all 3 cams.

    Thanks for a very informative video. How can I add the door bellunit camera to an Hikvision nvr on the same Lan network? I will save one camera position from the doorway.

      Hi Sam,
      You can add the bell unit camera (I assume it's a Hikvision device) into NVR through its IP address.

    Thanks for the reply, Connected magneting reed switch between terminal AIN1 and GRD showing 5v in open condition in vdp kv6113, where to configure alarm, whether alarm will display in Monitor Kh6320 or in Hikiconnect phone. Even if I short the terminal no Aram generated.
    There is a door sensor alarm provision on DS-KH6320-WTE1 display station and it works and giving alarm. But usually door contact wiring is near to door and vedio phone, again multiple sub outdoor station requires door contact to be connected to phone station as only one door contact alarm can be configured in display. Kindly help

      Hi @mathewspurackal7748 DS-KIS603-P cannot perform open door timeout as there is no alarm output.

    Hi! After adding an external IP camera, is there a way to put a "button" on the main screen to show the added camera video, instead of having to go to menus and submenus just to view the external camera? It would be a great feature.

      Hi @FedererGuga This model does not support such feature, another new model, DS-KH6110-WE1 does support this function.

    Side question, not related to this. If I have a Hikvision door camera and I access it with my phone I can record the activity next to the door camera. However even if the 2 way mic is on it doesn't record the sound only the video! Do you know if this is the case that only video is recorded? Shouldn't it also record sound?

    trying as yoy said but i dont get any camera in live view,i try to add them through iVMS but i get "hcnetsdk.dll[18] abnormal channel status error".Any ideas?

      Hi, Please check the ip address of the CCTV and your workstation in order to get the live view.

      Select port 544 and challel 1 for all other Ip cameras in monitor KH6320and try please, I have similar problem , got resolved. Off course IP and password all should be correct

    Hi thanks for the tutorial, I managed to add IP cameras and also set custom ringtones. However, after a week, the IP cameras config disappeared including the ringones (but the one which is currently set remains there, but the list displays just the 3 default ones). Now I cannot configure the cameras again - nothing happens after I finish adding them. When I try to import ringtones it gives me error in iVMS app. It is like it switched to read only mode and I cannot change anything. I have the latest firmware V2.2.12_230408. Do you have a clue what to do in this state?

    getting a time out, the cam is Hikvision dome w 20x optical port is 554 (rtsp) any idea? IP is pingable all works from nw perspective. Edit: For some reason I only experience this on the panels connecting via wifi, although wifi and wired are not separated.

      Please try using a LAN cable to troubleshoot as the wifi signal might affect the camera's time out.

    Hi, i'm adding a 4MP hik camera to DS - KH6320 WTE1 but it gives me an error of encoding type is not supported. I have downgraded my video encoding to H.264 on both the nvr and on the camera's web portal but i keep getting the same error. Any idea with this ?

    I have the KH6320-WTE1, a main door station and an ip camera. I would like to show the ip camera live view when one of the 8 alarm input becames active, like the main door do when somebody push the pushbutton on it.
    Is there a way to do this? Thank you.

      Hi,
      There is no way to do it on the KH6320 indoor station. But you can do it using software like IVMS4200 or Hik-central Professional.

    Brilliant! works great! thank you! Is there any way I can leave my selected HikVision camera stream on all the time as a default in the KH6320? I would value this capability to just have it on all the time so I can keep an eye on it. I comes on great, but always disappears after about 30 seconds or so - the screen turns off/sleeps

      Nope, you can't for this. If you want to view it for an extended period, we would suggest that you add it into an NVR.

      Just a question, if I add IP address of NVR where all my camera is connected, its possible to have live view on all connected cameras ? like I would have tablet with IMS installed on it? Thanks for answer 🙂@@ViskouGroup

      Nope, it only supports Hikvision Cameras.

    Hello. Thank you for useful instruction. I have added 6 iP cameras. Only 5 of them work fine, the last one, dome type, is not working. All 6 cameras work fine on NVR. What can be solution? Thank you in advance.

      Hi Mamuka,
      You can try resetting your cameras repeating the process again. Follow the same set up manner as you did before when setting up the first 5 cameras previously.

      I have this configuration but it doesnt work very well. Only one screen "rings" when someone is at the door. The other I need to wake and enter the stream to enable to answer or open-door buttons

      It's very much faded and in dull white colour, you may to carefully watch to locate it

    Hi ... any chance o fix my issues .. I have message Live view is not succesfull. Resolution is not supported. Even though I see a short video like one second and after that there is blaxk screen...... is there chance to fix it? I have DS-HK6350 and DS-2DC2142 kamera ...

    Hello, is possible to add nvr here? When I add nvr ip, port 554 , name pasword and for example channel 1, I get messae on kh6320 "Live view failed. Encoding type is not supported". I tried change resolution to 720p, to H.264 but same result. My cameras are behing nvr, out of production network so I cannot access them directly.

      Regarding your question, our technician has advised that you cannot add a DVR/NVR to the KH6320.

      0:05 I have connected door contact sensor at the terminals, where we get alarm, where to cponfigure? In kv6113 relay Input 1 is selcted for door events. Output 1 is selected for door electric lock. But no alarm appears any were. I need to know the status of door is open or closed. Kindly help.

    I have added the camera but I just get a black screen on both the video intercom and the ip camera. Any idea how to fix it ? I can see them if I use the app but not on the screen.

      @@ViskouGroup Hi it’s connected through a Poe switch to a Hikvision Nvr. The screen on the intercom has been black the last few weeks even before I installed the ip camera. Not sure if something is faulty or not. It was working fine up to then. If someone rings the intercom I can’t see who it is now. I can view the cameras through Hik-Connect though.

      To connect the PoE Switch, just plug the lan cable to the PoE Switch.

    I have tried to add as you show, but it gives error "Authentication failed" when I try to view the camera on the terminal. I have triple checked and I have username (admin) and password entered correctly.
    I just want to make sure, the user and password you enter are the same you use to log into the camera on WebUI or to add the camera to iVMS?

      The password is the camera activation password. Please make sure that your indoor station and your camera is within same area network.
