MILITARY AWARDS CONFERRED UPON PAKISTAN NAVY PERSONNEL
PN Investiture Ceremony to confer Medals and Awards on naval personnel was held at #Karachi. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf conferred various military awards to the naval personnel during the ceremony.
The recipients of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) were: Cdre Muhammad Tariq, Cdre Faisal Zafar, Cdre Asim Sohail Malik and Cdre Asif Ali. The recipients of Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) were: Cdr Jamil Ahmed Cdr Zaeem Shabbir ,Lt Cdr Muhammad Naser Javed and Lt Cdr Wasiq Khan.
In addition, 19 Awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-I, 25 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-II and 60 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-III were also conferred upon Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) and Sailors of #PakistanNavy. Letters of Commendation by Chief of the Naval Staff were awarded to 44 Officers, CPOs/ Sailors and #Navy Civilians. Best Sailors and Best Civilians of the year awards were conferred upon 2 sailors and Navy civilian staff each.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior serving and retired officers of the #PakNavy.
