It won't be as hard as the negative people are saying, we have a good list. We've just had unprecedented injuries for a couple of years. The people claiming our list is poor don't know what they are talking about.
@@tezwah5651 Sorry I must partially disagree, yes we have injuries but that was not the sole excuse for our demise. It is good now that the elder statesmen have moved on allowing the growth of the kids, but it will take a little time. It is not just our list you need to look at , its the lists and coaches they will be contending against and in that regard our squad has some maturing and experience to catch up on. Go Eagles !

@@tezwah5651 The list played a part in most of the injuries , old players are prone to injury that meant kids who weren't physically ready needed to play a larger amount of games which ended causing more injuries.Yes there were also a few unlucky impact injuries , but all clubs get those! And then the list itself had little depth and a lot of failed recruits hence the mass cuttings, good news we have now crossed that bridge , but all rebuilds need a little time. I believe the list we have is starting to take shape but still requires adding to. We will win a few more games , but will most likely still finish in bottom 4 .

Our unprecedented injury lay-offs in that year were in large part due to afl health and safety protocols in place because of covid. We certainly were unlucky, but not in a way that other clubs were, in one week we had 12 players out for that reason alone. It wasn't a one off thing either and we had the standard injuries all clubs get aswell. Lack of consistent game time would have effected any team and has repercussions for the following year at least and likely a contributor to injuries. I don't want to be disrespectful but your entire position completely ignores the facts of the matter.
