My favorite Scorpions record.
I love Uli ROTH's beautiful and melodic guitar solo in 'The Riot Of Your Time'. Uli's brilliant guitar solo is a composition within the song. 'Taken By Force' (1977) is the crown jewel in SCORPIONS's illustrious 50-year career. Brilliant songs and a brilliant studio album.

One of the most underrated songs, and under-appreciated albums (in the metal community). Heck, even Scorpions as a whole seem to be shunned and rarely given credit for their very early and amazing contribution to heavy metal.

70s Scorpions is something else man
it's really upsetting that "rock you like a hurricane" is the song everyone thinks of. this whole album blows that song to pieces.
Dieter DIERKS is often overlooked as one of the great and inventive record producers. 'Taken' By Force' was recorded in late 1977 and it sounds amazing after all these (45+) years. If there were ever a 6th member of SCORPIONS, it was Dieter DIERKS.
No wonder he was called the "sixth Scorpion" sometimes, or "Mother Dierks" lol
That upbeat hi hat groove in the chorus makes it so much more heavy. Love this song
