All of my diseased Eevees certainly feel special 😂😁 but truly, though, I know there's a lot of discourse within the current shiny hunting scene, but I really do think that all shinies are special! Whether you got them in Platinum or Scarlet, they really are one of a kind!

The shiny hunting burnout is REAL. Watching this video 1,500 resets into my shiny HGSS starter hunt, lol

This is....my kind of person. I also have sword and shield. Shiny breeded for a bulbasaur, finally got it close to the 2,000 eggs or more. Almost wanted to give up, but my cousin encouraged me to keep trying, nicknamed it Emrys. I definitely resonate to that exhausint burned out energy.
It really can get exhausting, but good on your cousin for encouraging you to push through! And congrats on the Bulbasaur! A solid shiny indeed!
@isyaboiskinny it certainly feels amazing to know that the shiny we worked hard for is absolutely legit and at full odds. I did that without the shiny charm and using the mesuda method with bulbasaur and a different language ditto.

For the Masuda method it doesnt need to be a ditto. Any forgien pokemon will increase the shiny odds, ditto is easy because you dont need to worry about the egg group being different.

I love Espeon and Umbreon. I’m planning to go for two more Eevee in SV to evolve into Leafeon and Glaceon in August (leaving for vacation the first Friday of that month and don’t want to feel pressured into getting by then, but I do plan set aside some eggs for when I return that night while I relax)
Umbreon and Espeon are definitely higher on my list as well! Good luck with the Sinnoh evos as well! They're all great Mons (and Shinies too)!

shuckle is an absolute amazing pokemon. i used it for my bug only playthrough of shield! no pokemon could touch it because of its defenses lmfao. i stalled like 9 turns rock sliding leons charizard

I got a shiny Frigibax in S/V after 1553 eggs so I know how much of a pain that first Eevee is
1553? That's a lot of eggs! I would say the first one was the worst, but I honestly think that the last few take that title. The first may have taken me FOREVER to hatch, but the last few, knowing I was approaching the end (but at a very slow rate), were tantalizing. I'm glad it's over and done, though! Congrats on the Frigibax, and I hope you enjoyed the video!

I completed Pokémon Scarlet’s pokedex with the dlc and it was a pain to do but also with trading and a copy of violet it was done great video as well
Having a copy of the other version definitely helps with completing the Dex, but it's still quite the task to take on regardless! Especially with the DLC, it takes forever! And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😁

For the question of how mammalian Pokemon lay eggs, its a stretch as...Pokemon are magical creatures and there's also game logic, but there actually IS a group of mammals that lay eggs! They're called Monotremes and would include the Echidna and Platypus, so maybe its something like that. Btw congratulations on getting your shinies! I'd never have the sheer patience for a shiny hunt of that magnitude.
Oh very interesting! I knew that the platypus and echidna fell under that unique classification, but I didn't know the name for it! Monotremes... very cool! Also thank you! It took a lot of time and dedication, but we got there in time! Would not recommend, but would also highly recommend if that makes any sense 😂

My most recent hunt was for Joltik in PKMN Black with OG full odds and I found it in under **200*** encounters
I do love the shiny hunting in the new games tbh (aside from there being no sound in SV), but sometimes you just gotta go back in time and suffer through the pain of earlier shiny hunting 😂 watch out for me doing a shiny only run of Emerald or something 😂💯

When I played Shield for the first time and didn't even beat the main game/didn't have a shiny charm yet I hatched eggs for a shiny eevee and got one after 12 eggs.. (I did use Mesuda though but no Shiny Charm)

I just started shiny hunting a couple months ago and the best methods imo are gen 6 bc they’re not too easy or too hard, with shiny charm I’ve gotten over 50 from dexnav, horde hunting, soft resetting, and chain fishing. I want to try other gens but they look so difficult besides maybe sos hunting. I’ve only gotten one from masuda and it is hell.
I haven't tried any gen 6 methods yet, but I wanna give each gen a shot at least once! But, yeah, Masuda was definitely hell, probably not gonna give it another try anytime soon 😂
I like methods like dexnav, horde hunting, and soft resetting bc they're tedious but I can do other things while doing it. Masuda I have to keep checking for new eggs, have to hold down the d pad to bike around, and it's really slow. I don't love radar hunting but it's really rewarding when you finally get a shiny (Also if you wanted to do this Eevee hunt on ORAS with nav it would be so fast bc the odds at 999 encounters are 1/170 with charm and smth like 1/400 no charm)
@cookingguy8157 I'm sure being able to multitask is real nice! I'll definitely have to look into those Gen 6 methods and give em a shot at some point! I'm not sure about doing this hunt again, but it could be interesting!
@@isyaboiskinny btw if you do research on dexnav for oras the most popular videos tell you to chain or the odds will reset, but it came out a bit later that the only thing that matters is the search level. So you can run away or scare a pokemon and your odds don't chain. Makes it so much more enjoyable.

You couldve done this in a very very short amount of time in scarlet and violet if you used sandwich method lol. I got 3 shiny eevees in an hour once. I’ve got half of all shiny Pokémon available in gen 9 now
Yeahhh you aren't the first one to point that out 😅 I did it in Sword because that's where I did the Eevee Only Run, and because SV didn't come out till after I had decided to do this hunt! I'd say the pain was well worth it though 😂
This reminds me of the time when I was going for shiny milcery and it took 1,040 eggs to get it. After that, i felt a bit burnt out with egg hatching in shield. I started a pumpkaboo and swirlx hunt, scrapped it for nikit and yamper and then pasued that hunt because the shiny flame isn't there for me.
Also i have yet to hatch a shiny eevee. I've got them all and I'll say how i got them.
Glaceon- friend safari
Leafeon- friend safari (back to back days with glaceon)
Umbreon- sos
Jolteon- sos
Sylveon- dynamax den
Vapreon, Espeon, Flareon, eevee- sandwhich/ eevee day outbreak
Also the only thing I've done with eeevee was the champion ribbon quest (shines only) and completing the crown tundra (non shines)

Yeah this kind of videos are the reason why I've never and will never shiny hunt anything. Back in the day I found breeding for competitive mons very boring, and this is like 10 steps higher

It has certainly gotten a fair bit easier, and that can definitely be nice! Going back and doing the earlier shiny hunts can also be fun, though, just in moderation 😂

I do, yes! I make use of in-game screenshots that I take myself, and then just use GIMP to put it all together!
