Watching you before going to sleep… I enjoy spending time together and love your progress on your shawls and hearing about the yarn festivals. Have a great start of the week,my friend 🤗
Hi Marta I just added a mitred square to my blanket whilst watching 😄 My son Alfie also sat down and watched your puppy at the end, he loves his fluffy ears 🐶
Ahhh the Whirl, I love my shawl I made with mine but the joins were pretty annoying. Your loop technique is a fab idea, I will try that if I use another one! Your cardy looks fantastic- well done ❤
Hi Marta! Lovely catching up with you as always. I think those fuzzy bits in Scheepjes whirls are a well known feature of them. They even have their own name: "fuzz buzzes". It's where one of the strands changes to the next shade to create the gradient but I think they're a bit "marmite" if you know what I mean. Guess it might depend on the project. 🤔 I love your new Harris Tweed project bag - it's beautiful!! ❤
Good to know the fuzz buzzes term! For me, I don't like them and unless it was a fairly textured project or I was using another yarn with it, I don't think I'd use it again. I love my new project bag too, thanks!

Thanks for tuning in Claudia, I'm glad you're enjoying my progress. Have a great week yourself!

Your mitred square blanket is coming along so well Toyah! That's so sweet that Alfie enjoyed the puppy section at the end!
Love the cardigan.
Thank you!!

Hey. Nice seeing you. I just crochet a African flower hexie while watching you. Planning to do a stuffed animal. Have a great weekend
Sounds great Rica, African flowers are lovely! I hope you had a good weekend too!
Hi Marta. The socks will be beautiful.
I am knitting on the squares for my Battenberg Blanket only 28 to go still! Have a lovely rest of your weekend.
28 squares to go? Amazing! Can't wait to see your finished one Mariette. It's Friday and almost the weekend again, hope you have a good one!
@martamitchelldesigns Thank you Marta. And you too!!
Beautiful cardi☺️ the sleeves may block longer! Although I think they look great !
Thanks for the tip Clare, that may well do the trick!
Lovely Marta! Your cardigan looks fabulous. Will you share once it’s blocked as it’ll be even more fabulous then!
Thanks Emma! I will share, absolutely! At the moment I have a queue of things needing blocked, finding time is proving difficult.
I’m still working on you Penguono xx
Good stuff! Nearly finished? xx
