Upton-upon-Severn , the town

Upton upon Severn ist eine kleine Stadt in der Nähe der Malvern Hills in Worcestershire.

William Tennant, a bust of whom is located in the town centre, in the grounds of The Pepperpot. William Tennant served in the Royal Navy in both World Wars and was the British Commander on the beaches at Dunkirk, during the evacuation of 300,000 British and French troops, fleeing the German advance in 1940.

Having the maiden name of Severn, I enjoy learning more about the Severn valley/river/the bridge, but especially the people and their villages! Truly lovely...

Another very nicely shot and edited video. Would have been good to have captioned the bust of William Tennant - I had to 'wikipedia' 'Upton-upon-Severn to find out who it was.
