I Never got the hate for Chibiusa. Yes she was a bit of a brat and whiny, but that was because her mother was trapped and she was the only one who could be sent back in time to retrieve the Senshi, imagine the weight on her shoulders, especially being a little girl! All in all, I love Chibiusa, and she’s one of my favorite sailors, and her growth was one of my favorite parts about her arc in Sailor Moon 💕
I think the DiC version of R had too much of an effect on all of us in the 90s. Once I saw the "Lost episodes of Sailor Moon" and then started watching the subtitled version and reading the manga, I realized that Chibiusa is actually really strong and has her own cool powers separate from her mom and dad. I've been a super fan of hers now since 1998ish. Looking back, I can't believe I wasn't a fan sooner. She really goes through a lot more than anyone gives her credit for.

I feel the same way! Chibi-Usa is the best! I can't believe people love Chibi Chibi more than Chibi-Usa! She hardly did anything in the anime.
