I went down to the basement
For a can and a clothespin
Got the tennis racquet off the shelf
I got the hose from the hoover
for my landing maneuver
Put the crash helmet on myself
Countdown from 10 to 1
As we blast off towards the sun
We'll be having some fun -
On my super sonic rocket bike

I got my dad's old computer
and a broken pea shooter
and the spring from the pogo stick
I made the racing stripe darker with a permanent marker
Everybody says it looks pretty slick
