- What is 36 plus 3?
The train name was chosen because Kyushu is the 36th largest island in the world, and adding the number "3" for surprise, excitement, and happiness, 36 plus 3 = 39, which stands for "Thank You = Gratitude. There is a lunch plan that includes a private room or seat and a meal, and a green seat plan that allows passengers to board the train with only a JR ticket.
The "36 Plus 3" train will circle around Kyushu in an unprecedented style, running a different section of the route on each day of the week. Reservations are not made for one course over a five-day period, but rather for each day of the week and each course, in a style that is on sale on each day of the week.

I liked this because l know something about the sheet copper industry, in Japan. I don't know about this train, but whenever I taught ESL at the leading sheet-copper factory in Japan it was always,-"you know that bar that you drink at, we made it here!".

Japan always try to reinvent the wheel and they do it with style and class, they actually do it first of all for the love and commitment of improvement and excellence, unfortunately America only does it now for the commitment to profit and greed.

I honestly think the basic/economy seats seem nicer than the private booths! Probably a lot more comfortable than sitting on old fashioned furniture on a bumpy train ride 🤣

Is it just me, or do others also get that feeling of longing and nostalgia, even though we're not Japanese? Someday I hope to see these places, smell the nature, and feel the wind and the earth for myself, but for now I must live through you, Itsuka.
Yes, completely :) I’m from the UK and dream of living in a society where people respect each other and respect the things around them. Yes, it is the minority of people that spoil it for the majority, but watching videos like these give me some hope.
I know Japan isn’t perfect, because nowhere is, but it does so many things right. The little things make a big difference.

Aquí en España no hay ningún tren asi ,son muy tristes y feos.Nunca enseñaria los aseos y los inodoros de los trenes españoles porque son asquerosos,y la comida es tan mala que un perro hambriento no la quería. Por esto disfrutó muchísimo sus vídeos de trenes Japonés.

curry is actually an Indian sauce and it is very spicy (I tried it in Mumbai),11,42 very similar to CHOW YUN FAT (actor)the train itself is great, we will never be offered this in the Russian Federation, and if there is such a thing, the prices will be fantastic, about taking off shoes 1 and 6 cars, are you not afraid to catch a fungus?
Japanese curry is nothing like Indian curry, it's more or less the same as what we put on chips in the UK. Indian cuisine is a wonderful adventure! You don't need to worry about foot fungus in Japan, everything is VERY clean, taking your shoes off is a tradition, as is cleanliness.The Trans-Siberian Railway does have a good 1st class service, but not like this. Worth trying though.
Japan has the most amazing trains in the world. Compared to Japanese trains, the United States' Amtrak is like a thing from the ghetto. 😥
