Good morning, Sir. I like your style, I am in the cult of Cartier and very much enjoyed your excellent review of each of these gems. Your thoughtful and relaxed description of each fragrance has won me as a subscriber. My favorite is Oud & Santal, but my secret blend is Oud & Oud layered with Declaration d'Un Soir . In my younger days, I would collect many fragrances but my collection became so big that I gave them all away except for my Cartier collection. In my opinion, it is a gentlemen's scent, one of my female friends said at a party and I quote "Come over here you gorgeous man and let me smell what you are wearing today" . Thank you again for your non-hype review and I look forward to more videos, all the best Sir.
Throughly enjoyed listening to you talking about these beauties!! My favorite Oud line without a doubt! If there’s any other from this line (or even the other line) you haven’t tried yet, let me know. I’d happily send you decants. Thank you for the shout out btw!! 😃
Thank you very much for watching! Yes, the whole line is of very high quality, and extremely creative. I love them. And I think I'm all set! I've sampled all of Les Heures Voyageuses, all of Les Epures, and all except 1 or 2 of Les Heures. I'm just excited to see what Mathilde Laurent does next!!
I have been wanting to try these for a long time. Hard to come by here unless one can get into the actual Cartier boutique and have an awkward conversation. Thanks!
You were selling the oud and menthe hard. Mint with oud does seem out of the box. But I can definitely see it working. Sounds delightful. Whenever I come across creamy aromatic profiles I am always put off/but drawn to them big time. And I guess that is what oud does in general for me. Not because of the ‘skank’- that’s actually the more easily acceptable part-maybe it’s the fermentation. Kind of like how you were describing oud and oud. Yeah the way you were describing a lot of these made me think they do actually use the real stuff.
Oud & Menthe is definitely a delight. Almost like mint chocolate chip ice cream… plus OUD 😂 As to whether they use real oud or not, I’m happy not knowing!
@@zambowman also on that oud and vanille one. The first couple of times I smelled that type of profile in a perfume it was amazing, bowled me over completely. Weirdly over time when I come across any new fragrances with it, it has become ho hum. So be careful not to seek it out too much elsewhere. Treasure what you have to keep the magic alive.
@@kellylyons7611 I know exactly what you mean. I'd like to think that Cartier's Oud Vanille is different to the other vanilla ouds i've smelled since (the vanilla) is green, airy, sheer, floral, and not very sweet... as opposed to the gourmand leaning vanilla ouds I've come across before.

Thank you, Dave! Cartier definitely makes some incredible, classy perfumes. They're not like those other designer fragrance brands.

Oud & Menthe is probably discontinued, I don't see it on the Cartier website.
I noticed that. I hope not... It was only released a few years ago!
Could you speak on the difference between Oud and Rose and Oud and Pink?
I haven't gotten my nose on Oud & Pink unfortunately!
I have been wanting to try these for a long time. Hard to come by here unless one can get into the actual Cartier boutique and have an awkward conversation. Thanks!
Yep, I have only seen them in Cartier boutiques and that one time in CDG Duty Free. They are extraordinary though.
The idea of “green” ouds sounds amazing!
"it's a green take on..." is the quickest way to sell me a perfume 😆
Is Oud and Rose the same scent as Oud and Pink?
They are not the same, but they are VERY similar. If you have one, you don't need the other.
How would you rate the projection on oud and santal and oud and oud
@@alwangarnvwa4744 oud & santal is extremely loud. Oud & Oud is moderate but with excellent longevity.
@@zambowman thanks!

I tried the Ambre, very thick and smoky, strictly for night outs
I think it’s a really good, not too sweet amber, but yes very dressy and probably the least oud-y of the bunch.
Cartier offers high quality perfumes.💥💥
Cartier. ❤❤
I ❤❤Cartier.
oud & santal is beautiful, signature scent worthy but VERY mature, anybody under 35 would feel they smell like an elder 😂 35 & up, go buy it 😍
For me oud and amber
Oud & Ambre has definitely grown on me the more I've worn it.
They just use .001% of oud
@@mattl7424 whatever they’re using it smells great!
