I would like to pop in here to help some of you, and tell you that you do not have to wait 24hrs a time. His random spawns aswell which is every night in game also drop loot, as I was trying to get Blue Spectre, I got it from the one near a place called Parujars cry, he spawns close by every night. So please, don't worry about waiting 24hrs for the quest:)
@@namatokithen theres another spawn, people think only the quest gives you loot but he has 5 spawn locations randomly and you can get loot from there as I got the Blue Spectre and cosmetics from it :)
That's not everything. I know there's a galeon figure (for the front of the ship) as well in the loot pool. It makes the sounds of it - sounds really cool in my opinion. And it looks nice.
On a good note, the bigger ghost ship that drops the ingreadint that you don't get from this 1 is easier to find (you can get the Anguish from the Abyss quest from the same guy that gives the oceans apart quest, it spawns up in the inddies near the top of the map.) If you can get 5 or more people to help, you can actually get enough ashes to buy the blueprint and build the blue spector flamethrower in 1 or 2 fghts. Seems the more people that join, the more ashes you get. It dropped so much loot, most common, some rare, that i literally ran out of space to carry anything else in my ship so i docked near by and overloaded my ship 2 more times. Not sure we were just lucky on the amount of loot or that there were so many people that joined the fight that caused the increased amount of loot to drop.
Definitely helpful bro because thanks to you I gotta keep killing that ship for it’s hull color I thought I was done but nope lol gotta continue being a Ghostbuster

Yeah it's fun fighting this guy but at the same time I'm actually sick of fighting him I farmed him over and over and over and over and over and I've got the jacket the hat and the necklace .
I own all of the ghost ship cosmetics, I’ve sank the ship like 15-20 times after unlocking my final cosmetic but still haven’t got the skull emblem for the sails, idk if u can get it or not
ye I've sunk him a good 50ish times as have 76 ethereal ashes and brought own the blue print got it all except the emblem so don't believe its available yet
i got the neckless from legendary map , so i think there is slim chance u got them but at the mean time there is some cheater takeover going on in pvp hope they fix that that cuz they join like 3 vs u they guard the one who take it so u wil lfight 3 vs all npc and iof u are lucky u wont face 3 in party 2 healing thier friend while he only the one join the event so keep going in and out best of luck
Sorry to hear you encountered a cheater, i really hate cheaters. Best thing you can do is get a clip of them cheating and report it to Ubisoft. If your on Xbox or PlayStation you can turn crossplay off in the settings
I start my helm coins with friends conveying with me so I ran to to a guy who literally had no reload time for his cannons and was shooting them like a automatic gun with all the cannons and was able to sail through island or any land mass so yeah there's that
what i mean is there is cheaters in takeover pvp even where u face player vs npc map legendary and the player go take the map the other fight u off and guard him while he reach the distention its unfair for solo players @@CrimsonRaven099

Where did you get the Lullaby sail pattern? I see it in game, if it weren't for you scrolling through them I never would've known the name, and it isn't listed on the single website that shows the patterns
When you were showing off the ship cosmetics, I recommend going up one tab to the "sets" section. You can see full sets including parts you are missing and how to unlock the sets. This could have been used to also show off that emblem you don't have.

The ship that drops the essence is the Rode Maangodin, it gets added on the 5th march. It’s mentioned in the new smugglers pass. Check the whats new section on the main menu and it will say when the new events get added.
Either wait the 24 hours for it to reset, the 24 hours starts only when you fully complete the quest. Or in the video where I show the outpost, my yellow marker shows where the ghost ship spawns, sail there at night in game and server hop till you get it. Someone in the server will probably have the quest so it should spawn in. Just quit to main menu and continue, you get a new server every time
So how did anyone unlock this stuff already not even been out long enough to even attach it to Even afford any of it so if someone has it they are a cheater
The open beta started on the 8th and for those that bought premium got 3 days early access so basically had a week b4 launch, that’s more than enough time to get all of it
What 75 are you talking about u get the drops sometimes from sinking the ship u don’t have to use the ashes besides u can only buy the ghost captain outfit with those and the blue specter unless u just grind for the drop

I was doing one of the story missions near the Ring of Fire on the Open Sea side during night time and ended up fighting the Maangodin there.

I’ve never encountered him randomly. I’ve looked everywhere and I’ve only been able to find the ship during the quest every 24hrs

It’s also important to note you can use your spy glass to see if the ship will drop the Blue Spector before sinking it

They are a rare drop in the chest but you will get them eventually

It’s random when it pops up unfortunately.
Just don't use crew attacks when its low on health. Keep just hitting it with reg weapons and crew board will show up.

If you have the Zamzama II demi-cannons, they open up vulnerabilities more, so they are good for getting to board bosses and other tougher ships

I’m not sure if it has an in game location, but the Lullaby, and the set it’s a part of, is part of the Twitch drop event for launch.

don't turn it in. he's got 5 spawn locations so accept the quest and go to one of his other locations guarantees a spawn every night
