Does the “grave of the super ancient organism” really negate dad it was only chained to dad’s effect? It says “players can’t activate their effects” but that’s already happened, no?

All I ever hear from HAT format is that it's a combo format where Soul Charge is the determining card every game
I personally didn't think it was true because the HAT format library has a million different "relevant" decks
