It is. But have you noticed how even good documentaries never spend more than a few seconds on one species? If you stare at animals they can be quite boring in the long run, unless you are really patient. So docus switch constantly. I like the idea of marine biology, and nature studies in general. But the reality of it can involve a lot of waiting around for something to happen. I'm patient with certain things, but waiting hours, days or weeks for wild animals to do things it might be interesting to film or photograph is not one of them. These are the best videos on marine life Ive seen to date. The sheer amount of diversity is amazing! The voice, music and footage is great! Please do more and keep exploring the oceans vastness. I'll be here waiting to watch all that you have captured.
Thank you! I enjoyed this documentary immensely! 2 things I'd like to mention: Sometimes the current on the bottom of the reef looks like it's the wind blowing through the coral and the plants and the wildlife.. Some of the most beautiful marine creatures are the deadliest creatures.
I loved the footage of the whale shark! Many years ago, a friend had a spiritual experience with a whale shark: she was guest on a shrimping boat owned by a family member. A whale shark swam up beside the shrimp boat, seeming curious. The shark was HUGE, longer than the boat. My friend was so taken by the nearness of the shark and leaned over for a better look. The shark rolled slightly to see her better. The made eye contact, just a couple of feet apart. My friend said it was like making eye contact w another intelligent being. She said time seemed to stand still and she got goosebumps! Glowing Bio-luminescent algae on the shark's skin made it seem even more mystical. She told me that was very touched by this experience.
Ex-merhant marine and most sailors can entertain you for days on what they have seen at sea. I had a personal experience like your friend but this was a great white and as I was standing by the fish plate looking at nothing particularly. When looking down along side the ship was the biggest shark I had ever seen and it had turned on its side looking up at me. You won't believe this but it's black eye was as big as a 20" tire.
@@adorable6385 my Pop was a merchant marine, he always talked about the beauty (& crazy times) of the Panama Canal, and also about all the great whites he had encountered. He loved sharks, he even went over to Australia on a great white shark tour in the great barrier reef a few years ago, he saw some of the hugest sharks he said hes ever seen! Great pics, such beauty & mystery in the ocean.

Bubble Vision YES!!! I've watched them. amazingly interesting how those murky waters hold such a diversity of life! bless your work and I'll keep on supporting you!
I remember watching documentaries like these on TV. What great nostalgia! I really enjoy watching the shows that talk about the fauna of an area and not just one specific species; although those (especially Amazon documentaries) aree good too. I subscribed man! Keep up the great work. I think the music is pretty damn good especially those bass heavy songs in the beginning like 27:43/ It'd be great to be able to listen to some of them separately especially while playing Subnautica.
@BubbleVision, I love this documentary. I've watched it over and over. The video quality is just gorgeous. The information given is fascinating and wonderfully specific. And the structure of it, the writing- is smooth and intuitive. It makes me feel as though I'm a personal dive partner with you. Thank you for this! I hope you keep making videos!
Very well produced and edited. The music is awesome, and even lowers when the narrator speaks. This is a work of art. Amazing job all around. Thank you for the upload : )
I've never uttered, "WOW" so often in any wildlife documentary. If you don't watch this 2-hour underwater video you are going to miss out! TOTAL WOW. My absolute favorite is Jonathan Bird's Blue World because of the human intervention and human reaction with all the alien life beneath the waves. But I think I shall have to send this video/documentary to Jonathan and his team as an FYI. Mind-boggling that we fear aliens from outer space when we have every single type of lifeform living within the same specifications all of us adhere to right here on this planet. To get to know and appreciate and love our planet, ourselves and all life even more!
I absolutely love this and your other long video. They helped me through a terrible illness last year. I kept them looping during the night when I was unable to sleep well because of the pain. No matter what point I woke up, I was interested enough to pay attention to the video and they helped me focus away from how I felt enough that i could relax even after watching multiple times. I grew up on the coast and marine life fascinates me. I love how you tell the proper names of everything and the photography is fantastic. The music? There's one that I'm not fond of but for the most part, I like it.
You are a smart person to use nature doc's as a distraction. Im glad to see on the other comments tht u are better, but your right its great how they identify all the dif species n the camera work is great. I also liked tht they mentioned how divers at night can confuse all the fish, it seemed like they wanted to be sure not to bother them anymore than necessary.
@@analesaperkins1391 Yes. Nothing irritates me more than a "nature doc" that only seems to want to either just bring drama or just a lot of pretty pictures which encompass all but the species they are supposedly talking about.

Agree
I'm speechless..they're all so mesmerizing. ..Thank you all...again and again, for sharing.
This documentary on mother nature is fascinating, beautiful and educational. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us!!!
my Favorite documentary ❣️
Your documentary is amazing and your accent is soothing and warm. Much more genuine than the BBC docus out there. Thank you for taking the time to make these documentaries and films!
These are the best videos on marine life Ive seen to date. The sheer amount of diversity is amazing! The voice, music and footage is great! Please do more and keep exploring the oceans vastness. I'll be here waiting to watch all that you have captured.
I was going to post my opinion of this wonderful piece of work, but you have said it for me!
All I can now say is :"DITTO".!

Thank you so much for this. I still can't believe this was a personal project and not a large scale production. So happy I found your channel
The segment on moray eels was worth it alone... great work.
These documentaries are so beautiful and peaceful.
This is just the best video. I've watched it like a billion times.
Thanks ***** for demystifying the underwater world!

What a great undersea doc !!! Thank you , and what a great narrator also, he has an extremely soothing voice. Will recommend to everybody !
Thank you! I enjoyed this documentary immensely! 2 things I'd like to mention: Sometimes the current on the bottom of the reef looks like it's the wind blowing through the coral and the plants and the wildlife.. Some of the most beautiful marine creatures are the deadliest creatures.
MAGNIFICENT DOCUMENTARY! BEST I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO WATCH. THANK YOU IMMENSELY!
You won't believe this but it's
black eye was as big as a 20" tire.
I keep this and other bubble vision docs at the top of my repertoire. Theyve been my top picks for years. Wonderful stuff!
Sir; is it ok to cut a scene from a documentary to use online?
so far, I haven't seen a single documentary like this. honestly, I truly enjoy watching this, especially when I cant sleep. it's relaxing, and makes me want to dream that I'm there, swimming along side of all those sea creatures. you've got the best documentaries. please, do more!
afatblft Thank you very much. Have you seen my current documentary series? ua-cam.com/play/PLRKm-wUwH33gVUGL8lz3KO5bpvCG_SJ42.html In a few weeks I will post the whole 90-minute documentary after the series has finished.
Bubble Vision YES!!! I've watched them. amazingly interesting how those murky waters hold such a diversity of life! bless your work and I'll keep on supporting you!
they are uncommon .. but there are many other fantastic documentaries like this one .. a bit of time and you will find them :D
afatblft i also cant sleep. Andaman islands are in india
Bravo!! great nature movie. Beautiful sea depths and these colorful fish and reefs. NATURE is great!👍👍👍😀😀
@BubbleVision, I love this documentary. I've watched it over and over. The video quality is just gorgeous. The information given is fascinating and wonderfully specific. And the structure of it, the writing- is smooth and intuitive. It makes me feel as though I'm a personal dive partner with you. Thank you for this! I hope you keep making videos!
สวัสดีครับ
Thank u so much for uploading these wonderful different kind of fishes that live under water.
Very well produced and edited. The music is awesome, and even lowers when the narrator speaks. This is a work of art. Amazing job all around. Thank you for the upload : )
Love the 1980s background music, I feel like I'm back in 3rd grade science class watching this.

Very important merine biology Documentry vedio lovely under sea water many kinds of creatures and plants thank you for the video
Myself, I never thought about the music. However, I so admire the beauty of nature and your great filming! Thank you so much!
Love this! So many things I have never seen until now! Thank you very much for this beautiful creation!
so relaxing!! amazing video! constant learning with this nonstop doc on marine life!! just wonderful
I absolutely love documentaries like this one!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Very very informative and very educational!!
This is mind and eye candy, everyone involved in this documentary are to be appreciated. Thank you!.
Mmmmmmmmmmm mn mm
I absolutely love this and your other long video. They helped me through a terrible illness last year. I kept them looping during the night when I was unable to sleep well because of the pain. No matter what point I woke up, I was interested enough to pay attention to the video and they helped me focus away from how I felt enough that i could relax even after watching multiple times. I grew up on the coast and marine life fascinates me. I love how you tell the proper names of everything and the photography is fantastic. The music? There's one that I'm not fond of but for the most part, I like it.
How are you now? I hope your feeling better now!
@@Mango-cz2st Thank you! Yes, much better.
@@galanie that’s great that your feeling much better!!!! Have a great life :)
My one and only " fun dive " was off the coast of Koh Chang. Exhilarating experience. Brings back brilliant memories for me, thanks !
