As a collegiate strength coach there’s a rule of thumb for squats depth. If you put a marble on the middle of your thigh and it stays still or rolls back towards your hip it’s depth, if it would roll to the knee that’s not depth. He didn’t hit depth once, this trainer is a joke.

He hit 275 pretty easy. Probably could have got 285 if he didn’t jump up to 300 right after and gas out

I mean no hate whatsoever and I’m genuinely curious. Our 1,000 lb club playing college football was 3 rep max (not 1 rep) on bench, squat, hang clean. What is the “official” 1,000 lb club? Is there an official one?
