This album is a masterpiece. You can feel the 80's vibe through the instrumentals and his voice was on point, specially in I'll Never Turn My Back On You, If You All Get To Heaven, Dance Little Sister and Who's Loving You. It is really sad that Terrence never had throughout the years the recognition he deserved as an amazing and fresh singer and magnetic performer.
Tizianadolce seu nome é diferente,,,mas tudo bem, porque você é linda,,,gostei do canal,,,TIZI, eu sou do Nordeste do Brazil,,,meu nome é Antonio Rodrigues,,,uma boa tarde para você.
Higher Ground @Stevie Wonder comes to mind. Great group, wonderful sound... Lead vocalist has power, clarity, range and a style like Steve Wonder. 5::5*****
I'd give my all to talk to him by a beer for an hour. But I never couldn'tt, I can't, I won't be able to... but if I only could! I'd say: Thanks for being!!! Greettings!
This isn't living now A thing my father said to me And get a haircut, boy If you want a chance in respectable society Why did you stop writing? I knew you had some trouble, son But you should know by now That my number doesn't change Because my dirty deed is done All I need from you And that's all Regardless of whatever you do And that is that you understand That I'll never turn my back on you How are your wife and child? I'm sure your little girl has grown And give them a kiss and a smile That's what my daddy said In a letter very long What kind of man would I be? If I left you in despair (and then he wrote) And I miss your mother, son Cause if she were still alive She'd tell you too You should cut your hair All I need from you And that's all Regardless of whateve R you do And that is that you realise That I'll never turn my back on you Whatever you do just try to get through to me Remember the time we got drunk on wine by the sea And I laughed when you tried to stagger home by yourself You were stubborn then and you are still stubborn now All I need from you And that's all Regardless of whatever you do And that is that you understand That I'll never turn my back on you
En aquella època, en 1987, aùn se hacìa llamar Terence Trent D'Arby, posteriormente cambiò su nombre a Sananda Maitreya, lo digo por que en el video està errado el nombre.
I just started following him.someone posted that he might have a daughter an now that I really listen to this song there is a possibility because his life is in his music (just curious)
This song sounds really personal, doesn't it? Actually this album in particular (Introducing The Hardlines According Terrence Trent Darby) is full of lyrics about family.
