I really love Elizabeth & Lucas together but after what they did to them this season I'm no longer going to be watching they have totally destroyed Elizabeth character made her wishy-washy and just a terrible person if they had her pick Nathan to begin with that would have been one that but after the beautiful love story of season 9 and for Elizabeth to say now that she just went with the safer choice is a slap in the face to all of us Lucas fans . My thought exactly. When Jack died I was sad. I understand why the writers chose to kill Jack because Daniel decided to leave the show. I was so happy Elizabeth found a new man. They were a happy couple until the writers decided to break them apart for retcon. I didn’t see that coming. They teased us about the wedding, like cake testing, picking up dress, invitations, decorations, etc., and all of a sudden the omen told her not to do it. Apparently, she believes in omen more than consulting with Joseph and praying to God. Oh well, the damage is already done. I don’t want to see her with Lucas anymore. Lucas deserves better. He is too good for her. She and Nathan can belong together.

Janette Oke, the author of WCTH gives her blessing to change the story. Elizabeth’s husband died because Daniel left the show. To make the story more interesting the producers and the writers changed the storylines. The author never complains about it.
Once Daniel Lissing decided to leave there wasn't much choice except to create a new storyline. I think it was a wonderful decision to add these two wonderful actors. Can't wait for season 10. Thank you for these wonderful videos while we wait.
I couldn't agree more with Joyce Gaskill. She expressed my opinion perfectly. As a matter of fact, I think this storyline actually made the show even better. I liked Jack (Daniel Lissing), but I like Lucas (Chris McNally) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) better. In the beginning I thought Nathan was "the one." As time went on, I began to see that it should be Lucas. I was ecstatic when Lucas was "the one." I can't wait for Season 10!!! I hope this show is like Little House on the Prairie or The Waltons and runs for MANY more seasons. If the writers continue to bring such great storylines and all the main actors stay, I believe this could be possible!!! I hope it is anyway. I like to say that there is always "hope" in Hope Valley!!! I CAN'T wait for Season 10!!!
