A decade ago, upon his first visit to the Vatican, Fr. John
Jenkins, C.S.C., said, “We need to work together so the Church
can be enriched by Notre Dame’s work, and that Notre Dame

between the Church and University, including a one-of-a-kind
agreement with the Vatican Library, invitations to Pontifical
Commissions, and much more. A panel of experts will examine
the ties between Notre Dame and the Vatican, providing an
insider’s view into the Holy See.
