  • This was recorded in front of a live audience at Reunion 2017.
    A decade ago, upon his first visit to the Vatican, Fr. John
    Jenkins, C.S.C., said, “We need to work together so the Church
    can be enriched by Notre Dame’s work, and that Notre Dame
    can be enriched by its connection to the universal Church.”
    Take a look inside this unique, longstanding relationship
    between the Church and University, including a one-of-a-kind
    agreement with the Vatican Library, invitations to Pontifical
    Commissions, and much more. A panel of experts will examine
    the ties between Notre Dame and the Vatican, providing an
    insider’s view into the Holy See.
    PANELISTS: John Cavadini, McGrath-Cavadini Director of the
    McGrath Institute for Church Life and Professor of Theology;
    Fr. Joe Corpora C.S.C., ’76, ’83 M.Div., Missionary of Mercy
    and ACE Director of Catholic School Advantage Campaign;
