Great video from the best nephew in the world. Tell Jerry that I’m off Wednesday Thursday and Friday tell him I’m available to work those days and I’m available on Saturday and Sunday
Thank you Jenny! I have a Sunshine in my beginner Rose garden & the pansies & creeping Jenny look great to put out in the pot too! Thanks for the ideas! ❤️
I Jenny, love your Coleus just behind you I wish mine got that big, Your pot looks lovely thank you for sharing the video, I really enjoy watching your videos. Cheers from Australia 👍😊💖💐
Wow You have a visionary talent...I personally do not see it but this channel trains my eye... I’m learning I did not know about shaving off to make topiary I bought that power tool at yard sale many years ago to use one day...use for what?? Well, here is the day! Excited! T y!
Absolutely gorgeous. I haven't seen the chocolate creeping Jenny where I am but it is sooo beautiful. I planted up my fall pots a few weeks ago with Sunshine Ligustrum and surrounded them with blue and white violas. How often would you water your container and would you fertilize at all during the winter?
Sounds great! I would only water if you're not getting consistent rain. You want your soil damp, but not soaking wet. Sunshine ligustrums especially don't like soaking wet feet. You could certainly fertilize with some water soluble fertilizer if you notice the violas looking pale green with less flowers.
I just love your videos. You bring the sunshine. Your opening always makes me smile. Despite my gardening in zone 4b I still learn and get ideas from you. By the way, do you know the name of the lime green perennial that grows to shrub size? I believe it begins with an A and it grows in shade. Was it a plant of the year even? Thanks for all you do. Even your attire is making me smile.
How long do you leave a shrub in a container? Is there a threat that the cold with kill the shrub or crack your pot in winter? We are just south of Winston-Salem,
You could leave it in here until it becomes root bound (2-3 years?), and I don't worry about this pot cracking. I've had it outside planted for multiple Winters and it has always done fine.
thank you for all videos. I have a question; how do I take care of my pansies in the south when I plant them in the wall with other shrubs? do I need to fertilize it and wouldn't that disturb my other perennials since they need a winter break?
The color blue pot really sets off your sunshine and pansies thank you Jenny!
You’re so welcome!
Hi from Argentina! Your introduction always cheer my mornings! Your music is uplifting and you are a sunshine!
Hello!!!
That pot design is beautiful🍁🍁🍁

Great shrub. I prefer the chartreuse color over the full sun yellow.

So simple but lovely!
Gardening doesn’t have to be complicated 😊. Sometimes I think simple is better, but one the other hand full & intricate is fun too!
Love it! Sunshine ligustrum is one of my favorite shrubs. I’m excited for pansy season in SC!

Great question! I typically don't fertilize my pansies but you could put a bit of slow release fertilizer just around the base of the pansies.
@@GardeningwithCreekside thank you
What a beautiful container and arrangement! Also, what is the name of the music? It is so lovely and peaceful.
Thank you! I would have to ask Christine what the name of the song is. She picked an awesome one for sure!
@@GardeningwithCreekside thank you! I would love to learn to play it on the piano.
Jenny I like the idea of growing a shrub in a large container. What shrub can I grow in a container. I line in zone 6b. Thank you.
Rule of thumb is 2 zones hardier. I'm 6 too and have 2 blueberry bushes in pots out on the deck year round.
Sarenne Koelsch
Thank you
Jenny, I love that Chocolate Creeping Jenny, what are the hardiness zones? I've never heard of it before, is that a PW plant?
It's hardy in zones 6-10, and no it is not a PW.
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you, I'll have to look for it next year. I will have to treat it as an annual in my zone.
Bonsai... careful with the feet.. protective foot wear..how big can they get in that pot?
