I still remember my first gunpla, the HG Gafran, an Age kit. This was sooo many years ago and was followed by a HG M1 Astray kit. These were just basic, snapped together builds, I didn't know about detailing and customizing cuz I was just a kid haha. Last year I returned to Gunpla and started with the HG Barbatos Lupus. I had so much fun panel lining it and detailing it with water slide decals, tho only started using tools with later kits haha
Exactly. Most kits are all the same in that you just need to follow the instructions and have patients. This is why I tried to list only kits that require no tools which can be a bit more beginner friendly.

Also EG can be also to practice painting too if the veteran builders want to customize it too
Some HG kits are pretty entry level like the Zaku II Origin in my opinion. Absolutely loved the video it made me laugh a lot!
