I saw many comments said jk version better than original,you know what no matter how good you are,you will never beat the original
I went to check the cover and I can't see how it can even come close to the original.
The cover was good because it was technically executed, but it was lacking the emotions.
Too much falsetto and vibratos where they were not supposed to be -in my opinion.
The original is a piece of art 👨🍳💋

The one with orange hair at the centre (you called his voice very unique), he’s G-Dragon. He’s the leader of the group, main producer and songwriter. He is one of, if not the most influential and biggest trendsetter in Kpop and is referred as “King of Kpop” by many due to his contributions to Kpop. He’s extremely popular in both Kpop world and also in fashion industry. There are so many idols (all the way from 2nd generation to 4th generation), actors, MCs, sportspersons who idolise him which is why he is also called “Celebrity’s celebrity” and “idol of your idol”. You can literally write an essay on how amazing yet humble he is. Personally, he influenced me a lot. Please continue reacting to Bigbang.

One of the most amazing things is that this has the rappers singing too. Is especialy true for TOP as he focus more on rap than GD that did a lot more vocal parts in his solo music too. Bigbang is a very complex group that has a great variety of music and is their music not songs written by composers and bought for them by the company . BigBang brought respect to idols , proved that they can be real musicians and not just company puppets. This is why they are legends and the idols of idols .

In my opinion, "If you" by BB was sung better by JK when he did the cover in the Masked Singer, JK can rap to and a very good rapper at that.

I can feel the heartbreak when BigBang is singing and is 5 people merging their voices not one person. BigBang is joking they have many sad love songs because GDragon is bad with relationships so no happy love story to write about 🥲
@@mariar3767 Because Dara stood him up for 3 hrs? While she was with her boyfriend that kind of heartbreak experience . I have been in some heartbreaks myself if you felt GDragon's heartbreak in BB's performance then I felt that and more with JK's that's why the judges back then had a hard time figuring him out he did not need to go through heartaches to give life to a song because he sings with his emotions and not the other way around. The group may have good vocals individually but the song did not work that well for me when they sang it as a group. Anyways this is just my opinion and it really just boils down to voice preference, w/c I might be a minority.

Dont worry about Daesung. The hair was part of the concept at the time. Daesung was long enough part of the business and concerts are their turf. In fact Daes part in concert is to reach out to us and play with us. He is an entertainer. You should watch some cuts of fanmeets or ments to get the feeling. Its quite entertaining.
And by the way one of his nicknames is our angel. But he is a devil. He is teasing a lot. His solo concerts are a very turbulent thing because of this. You can lookup his youtube chanel D'splay.

They have many ballads that are gorgeous. Check out G-Dragon's "Untitled 2014." One of the most beautiful solos ever.

For the ppl saying yg is the one making daesung cover his face is not a fan of bigbang, cause yall are just ignorant. First of all YG doesn't control Bigbang, although there is a limit to their freedom, hairstyle is beyond YG's care, it them, the artist who decide what they are going to rock. Plus there is a whole other story behind that hair so try not judge that much when you don't know the guys.
MADE album has some of the most beautiful ballads to be honest. This one is so beautiful, "If you" is the song that brough me to them.
I would guess just about all current K Pop artists have been influenced by GD and BigBang

To be Honest, Bigbang's Ballad songs are so damn good. I liked it more than their other songs. What more amazes me is that they write/produce their own songs which adds more feels to the songs cuz you know it all true. Listening to Bigbang's songs are basically listening to their souls. Such artist they are.
Bigbang is the IDAF group, they never make fake happiness, they never act cute and funny they are real, human who dreamed, who's been hurt, who gets depressed, but never given up (look up to the lyrics of their songs). They never lipsync, never does autotune, all their performances are raw giving 101% energy and emotion.
Surely, there are more popular groups nowadays but we can never forget all THE LITTLE THINGS Bigbang has contributed to the KPOP industry. They constantly try different things to grow both as a professional and as a person.
Aside from being called "THE KINGS OF KPOP", each member is exceptionally successful in their own field, they all can stand alone with BigBang's name on their back, they have their own name in the industry. All of them can hold their own Dome tours, world tour, asian tour except TOP cuz he's into acting and arts more.
-Gdragon, the king that he is, is the "Celebrity's Celebrity", "Idol of your idols", very well-known and respected in the kpop industry, hip-hop industry, fashion industry, a genius song-writer (at 19, he released bigbangs first hit-Lies, which has become one of Korea's most successful song, naming it the song of the decade. The song was actually written when he was 10 y//0). Since then, he released not just new songs but hits after hits. He is also Korea's youngest rapper.
-TOP, the very first underground rapper in kpop, a composer and also a very good actor. GD always trust him in writing his own parts.
-Teayang, he have such a beautiful voice, Listen to his album especially his hit song Eyes, Nose, Lips; Wedding dress, Only look at me. He sings ballads and rnb, he is a gem in the industry.
-Deasung, a power vocal!. He is very famous in japan and held dome tours there. He is a smiling angel.
-Seungri- soft and dreamy vocals. A ball of sunshine in the group.

Hi! If you want to know more of their vocal colors, you should try CAFE! It dont have any MV, try their live concert version of it… You will be amaze of their versatility! That’s why i always say that Bigbang is more than their Hype songs like Bang3X and Fantastic Baby, their genre is so wide that if u ask them what genre they have GDragon will say BIGBANG! 👑 And they are not the usual KPop boygroups with synchronized dancing and sometines lip sync, everything they do is vibe to the song and always sings live! 😊 If you want to delve more in their discography do it also their live performances! 😊👑 They are unique with different distinct voices, which s sometimes you cant see in kpop! after they debuted people said that they are ugly and they will fail. Their company was small and even they had hard time, they grow up in to great artists. Because of them i get in to kpop in 2012, well now i step away from kpop activities, but still have my favorite bands in my phone and listen them

The guy with the Orange hair is G Dragon and he is the undisputed King of Kpop. He is a RAP idol but he has the most softest singing voice - You must see his Solo song which is called Untitled 2014 vbut was released in 2017. Taeyanga the guy with the raspy voice is a RnB singer and he is dynamite at this and brought RnB into Kpop. Deasug the guy with the hair in his face sings trots songs and ballads. TOP the guy with the deep voice is mainly a rapper ony but his low vocals are iconic in Big Bang songs. And the last singer Seungri has a really soft voice too and some good songs of his own. They set the mark for all Kpop artist since the 2000 till today as they were the fist Kpop group to write and produce their own songs - melodies etc... They can all also play instruments. Previously and also still today most Kpop groups have their songs produced by the companies. G Dragon is the main writer of this group and has the most song royalties in Kpop. he has at least 200 songs to his name and some are from the songs he worte for other artists. We are all waiting for their comeback this year yes yes yes.

When BIGBANG sings live it’s truly LIVE. Like the rawness of their voices is truly amazing. No live effects whatsoever which is being used mostly these days in popular kpop songs’ live performances. I usually see this kind of raw live performances with BIGBANG, MAMAMOO, 2NE1 (except with Dara’s part sometimes), Jessi, LEE Hi, and AKMU

They are the kings of kpop and always singing live... even they moved a lot until the end, still stable
BIGBANG are the standard. They aren't called the "Kings of Kpop" because they top the charts in today's industry, but because of their vast influence on the industry over the entire course of their career and the fact that even with long hiatus' they still peak at the top of every search engine with just a mention of them making music. Anytime their songs have dropped after being gone for a few years, they peak at number one as if they never left. THAT is the influence of the Kings. It doesn't matter who comes up behind them because what they did for Kpop created the standard for today's idols to even get a chance.
G-Dragon's voice is definitely unique and iconic. He's also called "The King of Kpop" because of his iconic influence on the industry. He's literally done so much that it would take a long time to list but some of the more iconic things were:
-He became the first idol to release a song he worked on himself rather than just have a producer do it. His production work opened the door for companies to allow their artists to have a hand in producing and writing music. G-Dragon is also very strict when it comes to producing since he's a perfectionist and genius producer who makes music for other groups as well as his own. Others in the group also produce/write music.
-He wanted VIPs (their fans) to stand out among other fandoms, so he designed BIGBANG's lightstick to be a crown with five points for each member. This prompted companies to start creating unique lightsticks for every single kpop group ever since.
-The concept of airport fashion for entertainers came from G-Dragon wearing special outfits and accessories to the airport. The idea was taken up by the rest of the entertainment industry and is still in practice today. You'll see every fandom talk about "airport fashion" when their idols go to the airport.
-He was the first Korean idol to be personally invited to Paris Fashion Week, opening the door for other idols to be invited. G-Dragon, being a fashionista, is often praised and is friendly with many high brand designers. He also has his own brand called PEACEMINUSONE and it's very successful. He did a collab between his brand and NIKE; and those shoes sold out worldwide in 42 countries within twenty minutes - only available for a few seconds in many of those countries.
And that's only a few of what he's achieved. He's been in the industry since he was like 6 years old, too. Overall, BIGBANG like to have a lot of fun on stage and basically throw big parties, so they don't care if their vocals are perfect on every single song. They've been artists for so long that they don't give a sh*t about perfection, and they know VIPs love to have a good time with them. Other fandoms take it as they don't perform well, but honestly it's just that they have a relaxed feeling on stage. However when they sit down and put their souls into their music then it turns out so beautiful.
Be great if you could react to G Dragon's recent cover of Elvis's I can't help falling in love with you, on his Official G Dragon channel. The MV was directed by Baz Luhrmann - who also directed the recent Elvis film. It's definitely got GD's stamp on it and is a great homage to Elvis.

1. Dont insult Daesung's hair. Too much focus on that. Thats his signature hairstyle (and he joked about it too) He has a beautiful face when uncovered but this style made a statement. GD mentioned the difference between BB and other idols is because each member stands out in terms of their vocals and fashion preference.
2. DONT call any BB songs silly. They have a variety of genres including tongue in cheek ones (purposive) but not silly. NO BB song is unloved . Their songs are award winning songs AND whats unique about it all is most are written and co=written both lyrics and music BY G Dragon
3. Too many army comments. Who cares if JK has covered it. He doesnt come an inch from BB style and ... NO! He didnt even touch GD uniqueness.
