The Jerome Deportation of 1917

The Jerome Deportation of 1917 was a significant labor conflict where 67 striking miners, predominantly Mexican and European immigrants, were forcibly removed from Jerome, Arizona, by vigilantes and abandoned in the harsh desert of Needles, California.
