To Galaxy (Piano/Orchestral Mix) - Halo 4

I finished this about a week a ago for the Halo 4 Official Remix Competition and thought I'd finally upload it to this channel with a few slight alterations (the SoundCloud and download link is below). In this, I used the original Percussion stem from the Halo 4 Remix Competition website, and everything else was created by myself. I'm very happy with this remix because I had a lot of fun creating it, and getting those synths to sound right was incredibly satisfying. Although the ending is a little weak, I think I did a good job with the beginning in creating something that wasn't in the original and exploiting the piano. I'm also very happy with how the harp turned out, and I'm finally getting to grips with Mixcraft's Strings synths and how to get them to work the most effectively and realistically. On a different note, a 50 000 view celebration video is currently in the making and will be out soon. It's been awesome doing all of this music over the past year and I've met a load of awesome people. @@ToxicBalloon360 He's die hard Marty O' Donnell it sounds like. If I'm not mistaken, he believes that the original Halo music is the only way to go and everything else sucks because it's not "Marty's music".

@@benmontey3438 On that topic, I do personally believe that Marty's music was the epitome of music in the Halo series. I can appreciate what Neil and Kazuma did for Halo 4 and 5 but they just don't have the same "feel" to them.
With that being said I don't think re-hiring Marty is the solution since such a thing is highly improbable and unrealistic. I think someone like Tom Salta would be perfect to compose the soundtrack for the next mainline Halo game.

Thank goodness. An actual complete mix. Please do Revival as well, none of it's remixes actually feel like remixes, just a few sound effects on top of the existing song.

Halo 4's OST was a turn off because it broke away from the traditional themes we were used to. That's not to say it was bad, because it was fantastic, it just didn't suit Halo.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind using this for a machinima series.
