It's sad that people are taking this moment as something negative towards Nick. It was actually nice to see them discussing how to connect to a song. Nick admitting he was having trouble because he's closed off his emotions for so long. The song is obviously relatable to him since he's gone thru a dark time, depression. When you have a song that talks about that, but you've tried to close off those emotions, it's a struggle. It's nice to see he wanted to do the song justice. I'm so surprised with how many people have commented negatively towards Nick for wanting the song to sound good.
I've.got.you- Exactly. They don't recognize how human they are. They don't just "sing the song already" like some people are saying. They have to connect with it, go through it, try it a few times and so on. People need to stop dumping on Nick. Let him do what he needs. His determination is so there. Nobody wants to focus on that. Just what they think he's not doing correctly or what the hell ever.
These haters aren't true BSB fans. Only true fans know and understand the struggles each of them have gone through and how much they love and care about each other. They are a family, and like any healthy family, they have ups and downs, lows and highs, but in the end they are a family and will always be a family. Fans ought to know this by now. XD
Exactly! I couldn’t have said it better myself. In the same way that authors & screenplay writers, songwriters and even tv & film writers write with emotions because they can empathise and relate to the storyline or lyrical content etc, Surely it’s a singer’s job to connect emotionally because no matter how epic or amazing or straight up boring and whack the lyrics are they’re job is to tell a story melodically and vocally. I’m a bit biased in my next comment as a singer but i feel like in my humble opinion that singers have the hardest job to connect and really convey a message or to tell a story vocally and be convincing too.
One of my favorite songs in that album. I love the way Nick sings this song 'cause I can almost hear him trying to hold back some of that emotion that may cause him to really break down and I could see that with the words he was singing "hold on, don't let go..." (was he thinking about his sister Leslie at the time? R.I.P. ) omg those lyrics can really cut at times when you're in a low mood 😭 I struggled with depression so I know what that feels like. I can feel him trying to shield his pain 'cause the lyrics get so personal 😭 I wish this song had been released as a single. It would've been a hit. 👍
Come on bsb army !! Brian fans are fighting with nick fans and vice versa !! Agreed they all have flaws but they're still a group ! A family ! They wouldn't appreciate this rift between frick and frack fans at all.
Why can't we all just be one big family like the guys are? They all have arguments like Nick did with Brian in the movie. However, what some fans didn't understand was that Brian had been neglecting his voice problems for some time, thinking they weren't as big an issue as they were. I think he didn't want to either worry the guys, or have everyone put the recording on hold just because of him. Nick was just concerned and frustrated that Brian was neglecting his health and not making it his top priority like it should have been. After that blow up between Nick and Brian happened on screen, they came to an understanding off screen and that's part of what ignited Brian to seek medical help for his vocal problems at last. It's called being a family. I don't know about you, but my family still has arguments and disagreements with each other, but that doesn't diminish the love and familial bonds we all share in the end. What kind of family never argues, never has a disagreement? None that I'm familiar with.
I like when Backstreet boys try to Help Nick whith the song and cheer him on it Does take practice 's the song's or work with your boss it is not easygoing God Jesus Christ Almighty Lord help to get the work Done
u guys gotta give nick a break bc i cant rmmbr what year this was, probably 2012 as the movie didnt come out until 2013-14? well for my country at least and then the album afterwards. during this time. he had just lost his sister. aaron's twin. and the tour was postponed bc of it, yet he didnt go to her funeral. it was sad. nick has been through so much, just a few months ago he also lost his father. yet aaron wrote a song about their dad in his new album. i love that song of his "champion" and how aaron says "i love you dad" the problem with nick is. hes the reason more fans came in, he was already singing in the 80s the same age when aaron started. the only scene i hated in the movie was the song choice scene where nick was fighting with everybody. that scene hurt alot of his fans. then if you watch the dominion theatre performance after the movie, nick says "did u guys like it?" and i was probably one of those fans who didnt. its strange, it talked brian's voice issues and his teacher, howie's childhood home and neighbors, kevin's upbringing before his dad died and high school, aj's acting as a kid (and not his sobriety) and nick's estranged family and kid stage acting ofc lou pearlman. it was alright for a documentary but i wouldv liked to have seen more from the songwriting like the unreleased album we were promised throughout the years, the songs that didnt make those albums. i liked the cheographers bc they were in their millenium tour.
He's a hypocrite I love Nick but he is .Brian had vocal issues .Nick did all that crap years ago and didn't perform good and you didn't hear anyone bitching about that atleast not like that damn movie
Sandy White true and people don't know is Brian was the one who had to do all his cover up whenever Nick was sick or was on something he did all that back in the day. That's what he said I can't do your job anymore.
Nick's worked on his voice since he was younger with a vocal trainer. He never gave up, never stopped trying to improve. He has admitted he doesn't have the best voice and has worked to improve it. So, you want to get on him for being upset that Brian ignored his vocal issues? I would be upset too. Nick never said, I am better than you, you are a horrible singer. He said he wants Brian to stop living in denial and recognize his issues. I'm so sick of people getting on him for wanting Brian to be better. Nick is always the first to compliment the others on how great they sound. He is also the first to tell people that he is not the best, and there is always room to grow. If you don't know this about him, you obviously don't know Nick at all.
And by the way, people did get on Nick about his vocals back then. It was more from the public but it still happened. I'm willing to bet that within the group they had many discussions about vocals. They were not filming every moment back then. If you think this is the ONLY time they argued about vocals then you are simply blind.
He was having trouble connecting to the song and bringing out his emotions because he says he's closed off his emotions for so long. That's not nothing. I actually found what he said intriguing. It's like when people write a really personal song, sometimes that can be almost too hard to sing. Sometimes you have to find a balance. I feel like you just go around talking shit about Nick because of the argument in the movie.
You are obviously not a fan of BSB. True BSB fans know the hell Nick's been through and understand why he constantly works his ass off to be the best he possibly can be.

@@nadelina4154 Nick had his childhood ripped from him and his own family use him emotionally and financially! It left him a broken shell of a man and it’s because of the family he forged with Brian, Kevin, Howie and AJ that he was able to survive. Without them he’d probably be dead by now. His own flesh and blood brother threatened to harm his wife and then unborn child so much that he had a restraining order put on him! That’s a pretty messed up hell to live in if you ask me! He has a short fuse, I’ll admit that, but how can you possibly know him and what he’s like personally unless you spent time with him in person?

nicks voice ahhhh the best as always!
Nick: “For me I’ve just been detached from my emotions for a long time…” spoken like a true Aquarius. As a fellow Aquarian I felt this lol 😂
Yessss!!! I am an Aquarian too lol😀😂
Didn't know Nick could sing this sensual..*_*
Beautiful. This is why they are the best. Pure emotion and heart

The sister who passed was Leslie. She was older than the twins Aarons twin Angel actually just had a baby a few weeks ago.
I thought they recorded in the studios...
MrAndyCarlos They might have just been recording the demos.
What did Nick say at the beginning? he didn't want to sing the song?
I wanne hear the song that was in the movie but not to the finally.
They are humans to, they have good days and bad days
Во пашут!
alberto
The last part was fake. He sung another stuff, and someone put some different audio, you can read the lips, but he actually sings very well!
Nick has such a potty mouth! lol
what the hell is he complaining abotu Brian's voice when his didn't sound much better recording it I love Nick but hypocrite
he Slays it when he's singing live though unlike Brian these days. It's not as easy as singing live when it comes to a recording for some musicians.

Stop whining nick and just sing the song 😐
Ilovebrianlittrell Nick was really struggling after his sister died and given what the song is about he probably wishes she could've heard it.
